one day, i'd wake up
losing your familiar warmth
as we spent years together
sitting back-to-backone day, i'd wake up
without you to look forward to
as we go our separate paths
tumbling through life; unequalone day, i'd wake up
loving and hurting the same
as each day i cannot ever forget
the times we have spentone day, i'd wake up
hollow and lifeless
as my mind loses another fragment
of the moments we used to shareone day, you'd wake up
without my name in mind
as your world expands,
leaving mine behind
