Heartless
People said she's cold,
Numb and doesn't care about the world
They said "maybe she's a wallflower"
Who loves the dark and never try
But she's not,
They took what's meant to fly
And now she's clinging to the walls,
Waiting to wither
Until she falls and falls and falls,
To the hard cold ground
Waiting to be stepped upon
By the people who's just walking by
Acting like they don't know why,
Why the girl who used to smile
Is now lying on the floor
trying to keep herself alive
A girl who told a lie,
The girl to whom they lied
The girl they said that never tried
They called her heartless,
Its quiet funny how they said it
Because the cause of all her pain
Were their words that made her insane
Their reality was her nightmare
But her reality can't be found anywhere
And they pushed her to a mold,
Where they thought she could evolve
Into the shape that they desire
A shape she doesn't want to try
Until now they call her heartless,
After all that she'd been trough
She was never left alone
Just to break her into pieces
Even now they said she's heartless
But what she really did
Was to keep herself alive and to start using her heart less.
