Peter walked nervously down the school hall. He always froze up when someone mentioned his parents. They were supposed to mean something to him but he just couldn't feel it. They died when he was very young and he could hardly remember them. He looked at the remaining texts and shoved his phone in his pocket. He didn't want to talk about it at the moment.
Why was he so stupid. He could've acted as if he was perfectly happy. His friend wouldn't even notice. It tore at him. He had two options, he could lie and say that he was just really stressed with school or he could just tell the truth about his life.
He didn't know what to say.
