Chapter 17

Maya and Riley were sitting with Missy while they tried to work out a plan to get Charlie's attention.
Riley was of course tired as the baby was even draining her energy at 13 weeks.
Maya looked closely as Riley was busy eating spaghetti but could see that she was very tired.

"Shouldn't you take the plate away from her?" Missy asked as Maya smiled.
"She's impossible," Maya said.
"It's not that impossible. My sister got pregnant last years. She's very older than me and I know it must be difficult," Missy said as she closely watched Riely.

She swirled her fork around trying to put it in her mouth.
She tried to take another swirl as she accidentally stabbed Missy.

"Gosh, you okay?" Maya asked worried.
"Yeah," Missy said as Riley tried to get her spaghetti yet again but this time someone grabbed the work again.

"Where is her boyfriend to control her?" Charlie asked as Missy smiled.
"Baseball practice," Maya said.
"Missy, why don't you come and sit with me?" Charlie asked.
"Sure. Just a second," Missy said as she moved Riley's plate before she fell asleep on the table.
"She's all yours," Missy said as she was off with Charlie.
