Johnny and Hayden walked down the hallway after they left their English class for lunch

"Hey, Johnny." Mackenzie said as she walked past them

"Hey."

"Dude, she likes you." Hayden told him

"Good for her."

"And you don't like her?"

"No." Johnny said

"How?! She's Mackenzie Ziegler! The hottest girl in our grade! Every guy in the school likes her. So what do you think of her then?" Hayden asked

"She's cute. And funny." Johnny said as he shrugged his shoulders

"So if you had the chance, would you fuck her? Cos dude, if she liked me, she'd be in my bed so often, she may as well live on it." Hayden laughed

"I mean... I would fuck her if she wanted to and if I didn't have a girlfriend." Johnny told him

"So, who's this girlfriend of yours?" Hayden asked him

"Not telling you."

"Why not?"

"Cos it's private." Johnny said "I'll see you later. I've got detention with Mr Adams."

"Seriously? Fine I'll see you." Hayden said as Johnny stood outside Arthur's class

He knocked the door

"Come in." Arthur said

Johnny opened the door and closed it after him

"You ok?" Arthur asked as he packed chemicals off the desks in a lab coat

"What're you doing?" Johnny asked

"Just did an experiment with my 9th grade class." Arthur said

Johnny hung his back on some bangers on the wall and sat on Arthur's desk

"Want some help?"

"Nah, I'm alright. Nearly finished." Arthur said as he took some chemicals in the store cupboard

"I've got a present for you." Arthur said as he walked over to him

"What?" Johnny asked as Arthur took a box out of his desk drawer

"Open it." Arthur said as he handed him the box

Johnny got off his desk and opened the box and saw a silver necklace with a steel arrowhead at hanging from it

"Whoa... this looks awesome!" Johnny said as he took it out

"So you like it?" Arthur asked

"Yeah. It's really cool."

"Come here. I'll put it on you."

Johnny gave him the necklace and turned round and Arthur clasped it round his neck.

Johnny looked down at the arrowhead and saw patterns carved into it

"How much did it cost?" He asked as he turned to face Arthur

"About $50. It's a pretty expensive brand and the metals good quality."

"You spent 50 bucks on a necklace for me?"

"Well to be precise, it's actually a pendant." Arthur joked

"Thank you. I really like it." Johnny told him before he kissed him "I can give you the money if you want."
