We were just enjoying the beautiful blue sky of 5:53 but then . . . as 5:54 came, everything started to change. The calming sky had turned into a catastrophic one. The blue vanished, replaced by crimson red. There were ashes on the air we inhale and it was raining fire-- as if it was our version of armageddon.
Sorry sa short advertisment, haha! Let's now proceed to the 8th part of DEAD END!
AMBER
Mainit ang sikat ng araw na dumadampi sa aking balat. Para bang ginagawa akong tuyo nito. My heart was beating harshly as I catch my breath.
Few jumps at maabot na namin ang dulong platform. Minrod was leading the way. He was jumping from one platform to another like it was a basic activity- well, not for me!
Tuwing aksidente akong napapasilip sa ibaba ay nakakaramdam ako ng pagkahilo. Para akong maduduwal. I could imagine how my bone would crush if I've fallen from my position.
The zombies were scattered across the wide quadrangle. I could hear their growls as if they were wild beasts roaming around their deadly domain. Sa gitna ng quadrangle ay ang kilalang statue ng school na ngayo'y napintahan na ng kulay pulang likido. Dugo.
"Faster," I heard the latter said to me. Malalim akong bumuntong-hininga. I calmed myself for a moment. At nang handa na ako ay saka ako tumalon patungo sa kabilang platform.
I landed safely.
Nang marating namin ang huling platform, pasimple munang sumilip ang kasama ko sa bintana ng classroom. Checking if there were undead roaming around.
Nakisilip na 'rin ako sa bintana. The classroom was a complete mess. There were blood... and corpses! Napatakip ako ng bibig ng makakita muli ng lasog-lasog na bangkay.
I couldn't even describe how was the corpse were butchered. Hindi ko 'rin matignan ng matagalan ang tingin 'don. Pakiramdam ko muli na naman akong masusuka.
Aside from that corpse, there were also zombies roaming around. Dalawa lang naman sila. But they were deadly. Blood was dripping down their jaws. 'Yong isa parang pumutok pa ata sa loob ng eye socket 'yong mata.
