he whipped around to find kale glaring down at him.

he put his palms up. "i don't want any trouble."

"well you brought trouble—more importantly to north. and look where you got her."

"i know."

"why couldn't you just stay away from her? leave it all to the past and move on?"

"you know why i can't move on."

kale sighed, "north couldn't deal with you being head over heels for her during nathan's death and she can't until now. i wish you realize that."
