It wasn't long until the war hero was told of the mountain girl. The tales of her ferociousness both intrigued and terrified him. But he felt something wasn't right.
The mountain people had long hair. It was the kingdom's greatest pride. They come in tall packs and were deprived of an identity, they were one and they were might.
The mountain girl they spoke of, reminded him of his own. The way she held herself was pitiful yet she seemed as if she knew more than she let on.
And she was alone.
