Yuma blanked out for a few moments.

An... aunt?

He had an aunt? He actually had an aunt?

It all seemed far too unreal to him but... that would explain why she seemed familiar—as if he'd seen her before.

"When did we first meet?" He made no move to take her offered hand, still too shocked to even acknowledge that she'd offered it.

She pulled her hand away, "When you were two."

So that's why his memory was vague... He was really young when that happened, "Why haven't I seen you since?"

"Your father didn't allow me to have any contact with you." Her voice had gone lower at the word 'father', and her expression darkened just at the mere mention of the man.

That didn't come as a surprise, "What did you hope to achieve by coming here? By doing this?"

Chikara leaned back and crossed her legs as she sent him a small smile, "Well, I thought it would be nice if I got custody of you." Her straightforwardness was a bit overwhelming, but it seemed that that was just how she was.

Bold.

"Adopt me? As if my father would give up his rights over me."

A breathy laugh left her lips and she gestured at Nezu, "That's where he comes in."

Turning to the principal, Yuma narrowed his eyes, "What are you planning?"

"Of course, going public with this would only lengthen the process, so we've decided to blackmail him." Nezu said it all with a cherry expression and a cherry voice.

Blackmail? "You're going to threaten him with the sound clip?"

"Do you have another idea? With men like that, the only way to do it is the hard way." Chikara jumped in, lightly shifting atop the sofa. As Yuma looked at her, he wondered how they were even related.

She was different—very much so.

"No." He bitterly admitted, because no, he didn't have another idea.

And then, a hand settled on his shoulder, "Don't worry about anything. We'll settle everything."

He couldn't help but flinch away from her, "Please, don't touch me."

At the sound of his voice, Chikara immediately pulled her hand back, "I apologise." From the corner of his eye, he noticed how she and the principal exchanged a look.

"Yuma, everything will be all right. That man won't be able to lay a hand on you again," Nezu's comforting voice resounded through the room, briefly making Yuma look at him, "I assure you of that."

Yuma hoped that he was telling the truth.

Once again, he was late to class, "I apologise, I was called to the principal's office." He tucked the hanging part of the medal Nezu gave him before he left the office further into his pocket.

"I was informed of that. Take a seat." Aizawa told him and Yuma noticed that all of his bandages were off.

He seemed well enough.

Nodding, he walked past him and headed over to his seat. He briefly glanced at Todoroki as he passed him, "Morning."

"Good morning." The other boy greeted him and Yuma sat down.

The blackboard in front of him had names written all over it and numbers besides them.

"Since Ayatsuru missed most of what I've said, I'll be repeating myself, but keeping it short," Aizawa spoke up, "The numbers you see besides your name are the number of offers you got from hero agencies. You'll be choosing one of them and going to an internship at their agency."
