I've been spending a lot of time outside listening to music bc that's what I do in the summer and get hella inspired when I do that. That being said I already have another song fic or oneshot idea that I literally love. Okay so back to my Reddie oneshot "Say" (pls go read it I'm v proud of it and it has like 4 reads anyways that's besides the point) and it's basically a reddie story that iI based off a song called Say. Well the new one is another reddie one, and it would be based off the song Back In My Arms by Carlie Hanson. It basically talks about how same sex couples weren't accepted at home and talking about hiding their relationship and that shit and like. Here's a couple lines that are REALLY reddie for me:
"It's the kind of love they say is wrong" obviously same sex couples weren't as accepting today back in the eighties.
"Like back when we were laying on your floor, hoping no one opens up the door." Richie and Eddie cuddled up on Eddie's floor hoping Sonia doesn't walk in??
"We got back to the start when you're back in my arms." Everything is better again when they're in each other's arms🥺🥺
"You're something that I can't forget, like inhaling a cigarette." Come on, Richie would definitely say that to Eddie are you kidding.
