The Present
I stare into the darkness of the night,
But yet the stars are light,
Capturing time in bodies bright,
Watching it change from victory to plight.💫
But today it shines down,
While I stare around life's maze with a frown.
But to choose I must be grown.
For a choice has a life of its own.💫
I'm caught in the dilemma of the presents ivy,
With the past scars behind etched in mahogany,
And the future the rail of a balcony,
For it's times most dangerous gift, caught in skies starry.° ~ »🕛« ~ °
