Medic x Reader (part 3)

~Hey! So I apologize for not updating. Besides online school being a pain, I've been working on other stories I wrote. But I promise not to keep setting this story off to the side! Regardless, I hope you enjoy part 3~

You were helping Medic and Engineer. They were trying to create a teleporter that can also heal people when they're standing on it. Before it could be tested, the mission began.

"We can test out there. A lot of people are gonna need it" you said while grabbing your weapons.

(during the mission)

You needed healing desperately. You find one of Engineer's teleporters. Before you can get on, Medic runs onto it.

"Medic..." you groan.

"Look, as much as I would love to heal you, I'm out of ammo on my crossbow. I need this to go get it" Medic replied. You climbed on the teleporter with him.

"Can you at least let me heal myself first, babe? My HP is at 7!"

Engineer had just arrived on the scene. A look of shock ran across his face!

"Hey! You both can't be on that!" Engineer shouted. But before you and Medic can do anything, you're teleported. You both got teleported to the intelligence. You both groan. You try to grab your melee weapon but only find Medic's bone saw.

"Huh? What is this doing in my pocket?" you ask. Your voice sounded different.

"Spy!" Medic yells. You look up to see yourself. Staring at you. You look at your hands. They were Medic's.

"Wait... did we... switch bodies?"

(A/N: When I say you, you're in Medic's body and vise versa)

"But that's impossible! We must have done something to the teleporter!" Medic yells.

"I'm just glad I swapped with you of all people" you giggle.

"This is no laughing matter! We need to get back on the teleporter and-"

Engineer runs in.

"There you are! What in Sam Hill were you thinking? The teleporter will only accept one person. Now, what if you both ended up fused? Or scrambled brains?" Engineer shouted. You and Medic fake laugh.

"Alright, lesson learned. Now, back to work."

(Later)

"Look, we'll tell Engineer about our little problem, but not now. We need to lay low. Just for today" Medic explains.

"We can't be each other. I kill and you help. They'll figure us out pretty quickly" you argued.

"How hard can it be?" He asks.

(Later)

APPARENTLY REALLY HARD

With the constant yells of "MEDIC!" you were so tired and the mission had only begun like 10 minutes ago. Medic, on the other hand, sucked at his aim because he had never used an actual gun before.

(After the missions were over, Spy had told everyone to meet up, except you and Medic)

"I hope you all know why we're all here..." Spy said.

"Oh! Is someone getting married?" Soldier exclaimed.

. . .

"The reason we are gathered here is regarding (Y/N) and Medic. Their behavior is closely related to a spy" Spy tells them.

"And how do you that?" Sniper asked.

"Being one of the best in the world myself, I know how a Spy acts" Spy answers.

Spy got up and continued speaking.

"Our only course of action to capture these spies immediately! We must find the real Medic and (Y/N). I do not want to lose anyone on this team. Not now, not ever. Do you understand?"

(Later)

You and Medic were sitting on a bench together, holding hands.

"Do you think it's a good idea if we tell the others about our problem?" You asked Medic.

"Absolutely not. We need to keep it secret for a bit longer. Besides, we finally got some alone time together" he replies. He kisses your cheek. You sigh as both just stare at the sky.

Silence filled the air. That was until everything went black. You felt a sharp pain in your head.

(A few minutes later)

"Wake up!" Spy yelled. You wake up to find out that you're tied up to a chair. Right next to you is Medic, also tied up.

"That's better. So, what did you spies do with the real Medic and (Y/N) Speak!" Spy shouted as Heavy pointed a gun at them.

"No, wait! We can explain!" you exclaimed.

"You have a lot to explain. Soldier!" Spy says. Soldier gets up with a shotgun in his hand and points it at you two.

"Alright. Prove that you're not a spy. What is your first name?" Soldier asks.

"Well, what's yours?" you replied.

"Oh my God. I've been a spy all along! I am a disgrace!" Soldier shouted.

"Stop it, you imbecile!" Spy shouted at Soldier as he slapped him back to reality.

"You have 3 seconds to explain yourselves!" Spy shouts, pointing the gun at them, ready to shoot. You close your eyes, bracing for impact. Suddenly, Engineer barges in yelling stop.

"Now you cut that out Spy" Engineer growled.

"Silence! These two are double agents!" Spy shouted.

"They're not spies you idiot!" Engi shouted back.

"You see, these two were on a teleporter a few hours ago. I found out they put the space fluctuator out of line. What you see here are two minds that switched bodies. Ain't that right?" Engineer explains.

"Thank you, Engi" you said while Engineer was untied both of you.

(A few moments later)

You and Medic climbed onto a teleporter.

"Y'all ready?" Engineer asked. You both nod. Engineer pushes a button causing the two of you to teleport to the teleporter next to them.

"Alright, you should be back in your bodies now."

(A/N: Finally, the confusion is over.)

You and Medic both hug each other.

"I'll be honest, I'm going to miss being you" Medic sighed.

"Now, you'll just be with me" you giggle before kissing him.

"I love you.." Medic smiled.

"I love you more.." you smiled back.
