"(y/n) wake up, go hide in the closet we are gonna play a game ok. No matter what happens i want you to be quiet ok" your mom whisper-shouted "mommy what's going on?" you asked, your seven year old mind not quite understanding your mom's words "we are playing hide and seek with the humans, just remember i love you" she said as she closed the closet door.
You saw it all, your dad protecting your mom from the humans, the humans killing your dad, then your mom - you wanted to scream- but you didn't because you promised your mom that you wouldn't make a single peep.
