wash your face twice a day. morning and night. (with warm water)

also wash your fash after your workout or come from the pool.

wear a face mask every week.

I recommend freeman face mask. I have very dry and sensitive skin and this brand doesn't strip my natural oils. I'm also obsessed with their wide selection..ooo

** I use to use a Clarisonic brush to cleanse my face but then i stopped. while i was using it my skin was at its worst. it was dry, tight, and of course pimples everywhere. when i stopped using it there was a huge difference in my skin. it appeared clearer and smoother. I'm not thrashing Clarisonic or recommending im just telling my experience and i would never use a brush to clean my face ever again.

don't switch products. products don't start working until after you use them for more than 4 months. if you keep switching products your skin will become confused and this will cause more breakouts. so stick to a consistent routine.

i recommend using an acne scrub before applying a face mask. at first, i use to apply face mask but my skin wasn't 100% clean. face masks only work effectively on clean skin.

make sure you are moisturizing your skin after every cleanse. this may not seem like an important step but IT ISSSS. baddies don't need try skin.

make sure to take all makeup off at night!

if you have a big pimple on your face and you wanna get rid of it fast just apply hot water compress for 10 minutes, pop it, then apply cold water.

get your beauty sleep. I'm talking about 9 hours a night. at first i thought sleep doesn't affect my skin but it does.

last and most importantly drink your waterrr!!
