Proposal part 2

Sorry it's been so long. I've been so busy with online school.

*Y/n POV*

Brendon Urie peaked his head through the door and yelled "HAVEN'T YOU PEOPLE EVER HEARD OF CLOSING THE GOD DAMN DOOR!" and left. I looked at Gerard confused but he just shrugged. Brendon ran back in room and said, "Oh I'm supposed to give this to you." he handed me yet another card.

"Clue #4
Hope you had an amazing time with the guys I know how much you love their bands. Now that you got to go to the place you always want to go it's time to go where it all started. I always beg to go but you never want to. I don't think you realize I want to go here because it the place we first met."

As soon as I read that he wanted to go to the place we met I knew he was talking about the fair. He always begs me to go when it's in town, but I never want to go there is too many people. I guess I don't have a choice. It will be fun.

I say bye to Gerard, Frank, and Madison ad make my way to the car. I listen to the mix tape Josh made me of all my favorite songs and bands as I drive to the fair. I pull into the parking lot and pick up my phone. I text Josh to see where he is.

*Your texts with josh*

Y/n: Hey joshie I'm here in the parking lot where are you?

Joshie❤: I'm waiting for you at the gate. Just come to the gate and you find me.

Y/n: ok Il'l head in I love you

Joshie❤: I love you too

* back to your pov*

I step out of the car fixing my outfit and making my way to the gate. As I get closer I see Josh standing there waiting for me. He was looking down at his shoes until I was standing in front of him. He looked up at me and smiled his gorgeous smile and hugged me.

We make our way inside the fair and go ahead and do some rides. I was actually having fun. I turn to josh while we are in line for a ride, "thank you!" Josh turns his head to look at me. "For what?" He questions. "For everything today and I had an amazing time and I'm actually having a great time here with you!" I reply. "Of course my love I'd do anything to make you happy and I thought you deserved an amazing day!" He explained. I stood on my top toes and pecked his cheek.

~time skip a few hours~

*Josh's POV*
I am about to take Y/n on the Farris wheel and I'm super nervous. I did everything today that I could think of to make it amazing for her. I just hope she loves it and loves the grand finally I have planned.

I grab her hand and start our journey across the fair grounds to the infamous Farris wheel. "Where are you taking me?!?" She giggles. "I'm taking you on the Farris wheel now come on slow poke!" I say as I'm still dragging her by her arm behind me.

*back to Y/n POV*
Josh is taking me on the Farris wheel and to say I'm scared is a HUGE understatement. I am deathly afraid of heights, but I'm willing to face that fear right now for josh since he has made my day today so amazing. Gosh I love him so much.

We are next up and josh picks up on my anxiousness as he turns to me, " Hey are you okay? We don't have to go on it if you don't want to." I furiously shake my head, "no of course I want to go on it!" As soon as I say that it was our turn to get into the seat thing (bear with me).

After what seemed like hours, which was only ten minutes, we make it to the top of the Farris wheel. Josh pipes up, "Babe look at the view! And all the lights!" He says lovingly. I turn my attention the landscape.

I hear shuffling around me assuming it's josh well because he's the only other one with me. I decided to ignore it as the scenery was just beautiful. "Y/n" josh says somewhat quietly, "yes?" I reply not moving my gaze from the view.

"Y/n"
"Yes josh?" I say still not looking to him.

"Y/n, look at me please."

I turn to look at him and I grip the edge of the cart as what I saw. Josh down on one knee.

"Y/f/n (your full name) I love you! So much. And ever since I met you at the fair when Jenna stoke my seat with Tyler which forced us to ride together I knew that you were the one. So would you do me the honor of making me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Josh said clearly trying to hold back tears. He opened the black velvet box to reveal the most gorgeous ring I've ever seen. (Picture at the bottom)

I felt warm tears cascade down my face as I try to process what is happening. I couldn't form words yet so I begin rapidly nodding my head up and down. "Y... ye...YES!" I finally get out. Josh slips the ring onto my finger and stands up. He wraps me in a huge loving hug and whispers in my ear "thank god you said yes" I whisper back "I wouldn't have said yes to anyone else"

We break apart and he kisses me lovingly. As if timed perfectly the Farris wheel starts moving slowly moving us back down to solid ground.

Once we get off of the ride I immediately call Jenna. After all she is my best friend. I tell her the great news and she is happy for us but I figured she was in on the plan since she wasn't that surprised. I take a video of my hand and the ring sparkling in the light and then pan the camera to a smiley joshie. I send the video to our family and close friends. Waiting for their responses before I post it on social media.

We head home a smiling couple. I'm so happy I will get the marry the love of my life Joshua William Dun.
