Chapter 2

~~~~[y/n] POV~~~~

"Visit me you shit head!"

"Alright I will" I yelled back at my cousin, today was my twenty-fifth birthday and I just bought the building that caught my eye, I had packed everything, and was now leaving to Japan

I know how to speak Japanese, I took eight years on that language, so it's a breeze, I know coffee art is a popular thing over there and luckily for me I'm a pro at it

Just hope they like my pastries and coffees, I called people over there and set up renovations, so it's already fixed up, and the moving truck should be there by the time I land and get a taxi, I pre ordered items and shipped them at my place

Everything was smooth sailing from here, watermelon was chilling in his cage while we took flight, I laid my head back and slept the entire way there

~~~~Time Skip~~~~

I see the moving truck was there so I quickly sped up my pace, I signed everything and they lifted the boxes to my apartment up top, I looked at the building and had a mini dance party going up in my head

I can hear watermelon tweeting "I know we own this whole building" I squealed, after everything was moved I went inside and started to set up the café

I set up some stuff and when nightfall came I didn't stop, there time zone is different, by this time there asleep but I'll be awake

So I kept setting up things, after that I decorated the place, once everything was done I went up to my apartment and started to decorate the place, I've taken a liken to the Japanese culture and followed how they lived in everyday life

Once I was done morning came, by this time I'm tired, but if I want to have a normal schedule I have to stay up

So I put on some black overalls, with a white dress shirt, a little bow tie, high knee socks, and black dress shoes

This was gonna be my work clothes, I like it, it's cute on me

I put watermelon on my shoulder and I went to start baking, I made cookies, cupcakes, mini cakes, taiyaki, mochi, raindrop cake, a traditional Japanese cheesecake... I quite a lot

I was like running robot, I sighed out and rested for a bit, until I heard the bell ring signaling there's a customer, I made my way out of the kitchen and to the cashier

There was a women who had her son and was looking at the menu up top "hello, what can I get for you ma'am"

"Hi, I would like a simple mocha, and what do you sweetheart" she looked at the small kid and in a very small shy voice

"I-I would like a-a hot chocolate" 'so cute'

"Okay, coming right up" watermelon jumped out of my shoulder and landed on the counter, I see the kids eyes light up when he saw him

"I-I like your bird"

"Thank you, his name is watermelon" the kid put his finger out and he landed on it, he was petting his head and once I was done preparing there drinks watermelon landed right back on my shoulder

"Oh look at that" she looked at the pastries and I guess one caught her eye "those are adorable" she pointed at the cat bread I made, it had three fillings to choose from, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry

"Oh yeah, those are cat bread I made earlier, they have three fillings"

"Would you like one" the kid nodded his head

"I have strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla" I said

"We would take one chocolate, and one strawberry" I took them out and placed them in a paper bag "I don't think I remember this café being here, now that I think about it"

"Oh I just opened up"

"Oh really? Wow, you did very well on designing this place" she paid and they left, after that first customer more came pouring in

Honestly I though my first day would be slow, apparently god had other plans

After being stampede with customers, I closed up early, watermelon kept them busy as I was making coffee left and right

I went upstairs and into my apartment, I then flopped on my bed and fell asleep
