Chapter 3

~~~~[y/n] POV~~~~

I only get one day off throughout the whole week, and Sunday's are my day off, I was walking along the sidewalk with watermelon on my shoulder

I had an ice cream as I made my way to some stores, I threw it away and made my way in, I wore a hoodie so I can hide watermelon

I see merchandise that said something like 'Deku' 'Ground Zero' or like 'Shoto'

I have no idea who they where, probably a game character or something

I look to my side and my eyes widen, there was a store full of 'Pop', I quickly just shuffle my way in and shuffle my way out with six 'Pop' characters

Once I was done checking out the stores I see a crowd of people, I didn't pay much attention to what was happening, but from what I heard there was a villain attack and a famous pro hero took him out

I only got a glimpse of a tuff of green hair, I just shrugged and walked away

I made it back to my apartment and started to cook myself a little something, I look at the news and nothing really interesting is happening so I just put on (favorite tv show) and relaxed for a couple hours

I was googling what kind of pet I should get, and came across a cat breed that caught my eye, it was a Ragdoll cat, it's a large breed but there very docile and have an affectionate nature

"What do think watermelon, should we buy one" he just let out a tweet "I'll take that as a yes" I looked up some breeders and found one that was for sale, I contacted them and they said that I can pick them up tomorrow morning, and I can make it back just before my shop opens

I hung up and got back to eating my food, once I was done I decided to sleep early because I need my sleep

~~~~Time Skip Next Morning~~~~

I got an Uber and picked up the kitten, then made it back inside my café, I started to prepare pastries and once they where in the oven I flipped the 'closed' sign to 'open'

It was busy, but watermelon kept them entertained, he liked all the attention and he even plays with the kids

As for the kitten she laid on peoples lap when they sat down, she was pretty, she has a marks on her eye that make it look like she is wearing eyeliner

After serving customers for a whole day they all began to leave, I was cleaning the kitchen until I heard the bell ring, I was confused but remembered that I forgot to flip the sign saying 'closed' I walked out with my hands in my apron

I look ahead and see a bold chest, then slowly looked up and see a man with green fluffy hair, freckles on his cheeks, and emerald eyes

And the first thing I said to this humongous man "holy shit your huge" I covered my mouth and he let out a laugh "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to say that"

"It's fine really"

"Oh god, a-anyways is there anything I could get you sir" he thought for a moment before speaking

"I would like green tea please"

"Coming right up, you don't mind if I make it a 'to go' I'm currently closing up"

"It's fine, I need to head home anyways" I started to prepare the drink, and my mind was still processing how this guy is just so... giant

I made my way out and see him hold the new kitten and watermelon chilling on his head "you have cute pets, what's there name?"

"Well the birds name is watermelon, but I never really thought of a name for the kitten, I just got her and didn't really think of a name yet"

"She's sweet, and her fur is soft like... peaches"

"That's a good name"

"Huh?"

"Peaches, that's a good name, I think I'll call her that, thank you" I said "a-anyways here's your green tea"

"Oh, thank you"

"If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" I said curiously, he seemed to have a face of shock

"A-are you new here?"

"Yeah, I moved to Japan a three days ago"

"That explains it, my name is Midoriya Izuku, pro hero name Deku, I'm the number one hero" I just stood there thinking

"Oh, um, okay well good luck" I said as I wiped the counter down

"Thank you, bye" he waved goodbye and I did the same

I took a sip of the green tea and my tastebuds felt like they where in heaven "oh wow... this is good, I should come back"
