"Sidney, give Penny the remote before you wake Sadie up!" I whisper-yelled to the dork I have to call my brother.

"Why should I? I had it first." He shot right back at me.

"Because I told you too and I literally just got Sadie to take her nap. You know how fussy that seven year old can get." I warned my brother for the last time.

"Fine," He mumbled and threw the remote in our sister Penny's general direction. It landed by her feet that were propped up on a pillow on the coffee table, "she always gets what she wants."

"It's because I'm older then you." Penny said with a satisfied grin as she turned on the tv.

"By ten months!" Sidney yelled.

"And sixteen days." Penny added, just like she always does.

"Both of you just shut up and stop screaming. If Sadie wakes up from one of you, you will both have to deal with me." I threatened before leaving the tiny space we call a living room. I walked into the kitchen and mentally groaned at all the dishes piled up in the sink. I got to scrubbing the glass dishes and was glad it was the last few days of summer. The younger ones would be going back to school and so will I. Senior year. I should be happy it's my senior year and I am to some extent, but I know that I have no plans for after high school except finding a full time job and staying home. It's not like I could ever afford college and I definitely wouldn't be getting any help from my pathetic excuse of a father. I'm probably not smart enough for college anyways. My grades were just slightly above average.

"I'm hungry." My second youngest sister, Polly, complained as she walked into the kitchen.

"Shit." I groaned.

"You said you'd stop swearing in front of the eleven year old." Sidney reminded me from the living room.

"Shut up." I returned. I completely forgot about dinner, I didn't realize how late it was. I turned away from Polly and opened the pantry. We only had some chips and granola bars. I yanked open the fridge next. All I saw was half a gallon of milk left, a few apples, some eggs, and what looked to be left over spaghetti. I considered the spaghetti, but then decided there wasn't enough for the five of us.

"Fuc...crap." I muttered. I walked over to the kitchen table and picked up my wallet. Opening it, I found a twenty dollar bill and some pennies.

"Pizza?" I questioned through the house. I received three replies 'yes' and knew Sadie wouldn't mind pizza when she woke up. I grabbed my crappy phone out of my pocket and dialed the local pizza place in our city, because it had the cheapest prices.

"Ya, one large half cheese, half mushroom pizza for delivery." I told the guy over the phone. After giving him the address and hanging up I decided to check on Sadie. When I walked into her room she wasn't on her bed sound asleep like I thought she would be, instead she was on the floor looking through some of Penny's teen magazines.

"Sadie, why are you looking at those?" I questioned and lightly snatched the magazine from her tiny seven year old hands. I silently prayed nothing too bad was in a teen girl magazine.

"I'm too old for naps." She said simply, only answering my question partly.

"In the mood for some pizza?" I asked, deciding to give up asking her about the magazines. I would have to tell Penny to be more careful leaving them out later. I watched as Sadie's face brightened at the mention of pizza. She nodded her head eagerly.

"It'll be here any second, go wait in the living room with everyone." I told her and watched her jump up and exit the room. I sighed and looked around the cramped room with three beds in it. One for Penny, and a bunk bed for Polly and Sadie. Our house only had three bedrooms total and with Sidney and I in one and our father in another, the three girls had to share the last one. The sharp ring of the doorbell pulled me from my thoughts.
