Bite

You began to wake up, you could hear voices. "Wait, she killed a man?" You could hear Damon say, "Way to go little sis, didn't know you had it in you." He didn't know you were up, so you decided to screw with him. "Thanks," you said sitting up as your brothers rushed to your side. "God I feel like my skin is on fire." You said confusing your brothers, you then noticed Elijah in the doorframe. "The man, is he- did you-" you could barely get the sentence out, "I took care of it." Elijah said giving you a look that read as sadness. It suddenly hit you that you killed someone, your breath caught and tears began to well up. "Shhh, it's ok little sister." Damon noticed immediately, grabbed a hold of you and held you. You couldn't calm down, your body shook with sobs. "If you'd like I can help. I can make it hurt less." He offered, you didn't want to forget the man but you also knew there was more important things at hand. You nodded, he turned to look you in the eye, "The man you killed was a sleaze, you didn't mean to kill him. Calm down." You waited but the calm never came, you felt the same. "Why didn't it work?" You cried, Damon and Stefan stared in shock they began to shake their heads. "Who was your father again?" Elijah asked softly, you looked at him, "We don't know." Stefan looked at Elijah, "Why?"

"Because one of the few types of people who can resist compulsion, is werewolves." Elijah said carefully, your sobs slowed and Damon stood up. "Wait, are you trying to say she's a witch and a werewolf?" Your eldest brother asked obviously confused. "It's possible if her father was one. Rare, but possible." Elijah explained. "There's a full moon tonight." You realized, it'd be your first transformation. "Yes and incidentally that mean Klaus will also perform the ritual tonight. Which is why I came." Elijah said, "We can go down to the study and talk." Stefan offered, you weren't ready to move as everyone started to leave Stefan looked back at you. You shook your head, "I need time, I'm sorry." You stated, Stefan nodded and walked over to kiss your cheek before he left. You couldn't believe everything you figured out in the past couple days. You felt your phone buzz, you grabbed it and looked it was the unknown number again. Klaus. If you hadn't, I would have killed him for touching what's mine. This upset you as you had killed someone, they're dead because of you. For the first time you texted back; How dare you! I killed someone, he was someone's father, husband, brother, son, he was was someone's something! Even though human life means nothing to you it means everything to me! Rot in hell!

You began shaking you were so mad, probably the werewolf side talking but mad none the less. Next thing you know you hear a loud crash and go running. You run into Damon's room to see him and Stefan fighting, Elena is on the floor blood on her mouth. You ran to her, "What happened?" She looked at you, "He-he force fed me his blood." She said referring to Damon. "YOU WHAT?!?" You screamed as him and Stefan fought and Damon stabbed Stefan in the stomach with a stake. "DAMON!" You yelled at your older brother, he turned and walked out. Elena moved to help Stefan, as did Alaric who apparently was just normal Alaric and Jenna was sent to get blood bags for Stefan. You decided to run after your brother who was pouring a glass of bourbon you grabbed it from him and drank it. "Wanna tell me why the hell you did that? No wait let me think just like with Kat you and Stefan are both in love with her?" You were angry, Klaus had showed he didn't care about human life but you feel like your brother just did the same. Instead of answering you he just left. Not too long after Stefan left with Elena. You found Elijah who was packing away the elixir he was talking about the previous day. "Apparently they won't need this anymore, vampire blood renders it useless." He explained you nodded. "Got one for werewolves?" You joked, he chuckled. "Sadly, no. You know you can't be around tonight, your wolf form will want to kill any vampire in your sights. Your bite is lethal to vampires." He explained to you. You nodded, "I'm not sure where to go, I've never- I don't know where to go to keep everyone safe." You looked down, you wanted to ask something but didn't know if you could. He looked at you, "Is there something else?" He pushed. "Well since you asked, um, Klaus said something while in Alaric's body and he must've known it got under my skin when I learned it was him. Because he somehow got my number and sent it to me again. He said "you're not bad looking" when I asked why he would've asked me to save him a dance. Why would he do that?" You asked, he stood there. "I'm not sure, other than the obvious, you're not bad looking Y/N. Perhaps he truly wanted to get under your skin." Elijah said unsure, you blushed as you once again were complimented by another original. You nodded and said goodbye to Elijah as he went to prepare for tonight, he gave you a kiss on the cheek goodbye. You decided to go look for a place for tonight.
