Evelyn's POV

Flesh flipped on the light revealing all of the blood surrounding him. I broke off his cuffs with some wire cutters and helped him up. My arms wrapped around his neck as his wrapped tightly around my waist. My hand made its way to the back of his head as I breathed heavily. I backed out and looked at his face. A cut on his jawline peeled open. I turned him around and observed the cuts on his back. Deep, black, bleeding cuts all up and down his shoulders, neck, and spine. I turned him back around, facing me. His head was down and tears filled his eyes. I shook my head and looked at flesh. She cried as well.

His blue, puffy eyes met mine. I couldn't stand it anymore. I turned away and cried.

"What's wrong?" He said walking over to me.

"Nothing is wrong, I'm just letting it out."

"Letting what out?"

"The pain, worry."

"Why would you worry about me? I was terrified of losing you... I should be worried..."

"I love you... I worried about losing you..."  I said walking back to him. "When I saw the man's hands and how bloody they were, I thought you were dead. I wanted to die and I asked him to kill me, but Flesh stopped him."

"If you died, I would probably wither away to nothing. You know you've saved my life one to many times already?"

"I would stop, but you keep getting into trouble."

Carls POV

"This conversation is so cheesy!" Flesh said from a far.

"I know how to make it even  more cheesy..." I said shifting my eyes from Evelyn to Flesh

"How's that?" Flesh said, her hands on her hips.

I looked at Evelyn and kissed her lips. The kiss quickly elevated from sweet to passionate. We kissed until Flesh made her way towards us and broke us apart.

"Alright love birds let's go clean you up. " she said leading us out into the brightly lit hallway. We walked into an emergency service room with medical supplies and such. I carefully lay down on the gurney, trying my hardest to not rip my cuts. The room was cold. Breezes continued to blow across my back and into my cuts. My stomach stuck to the plastic cover on the bed.

"This might hurt a bit..." Flesh said stringing thread into the eye of the needle. Evelyn grasped my hand and sat in the floor, her chin resting on the edge of the bed. Flesh sat the threaded needle on the side table and picked up a bottle of liquid.

"What's that?" Evelyn said.

"Just peroxide, to clean out the wounds."

She poured it all over my back. The liquid stung and my cuts bubbled. The peroxide dripped off the bed and onto the floor. She took a cloth and lay it on my back to soak up the liquid. Flesh grasped the needle and stitched up each wound. With every piercing jab, Evelyn squeezed my hand tighter. When I flinched, so did she. It was almost like she felt my pain.

After my back was stitched up, Flesh fixed my sliced jaw.

"This one's not as bad as the ones on your back. It doesn't need stitches, just needs to be cleaned." She said pouring some peroxide on a cotton ball. She stroked it lightly, then wiped it dry. I smiled. She wasn't as bad as I thought.
