AURIANNA

"Andre?" I gently shook him but he didn't respond. I quickly got off the bed and went to sit by his side. I placed the back of my Palm on his forehead and I flinched at the hotness of his body temperature.

I need to dab him with cold water so I got up and started to the bathroom
"Aurianna?" Andre's voice stopped me on track and I rushed to his side
"Andre, are you okay?" My eyes scanned all over his face
"Please don't leave me" he begged

"I won't, I'm just going to get a bowl of water to dab you, you're heating up" I explained
He grabbed my hands "Promise me you won't leave me"
"Huh?" I was so confused
"Promise me" he repeated
"I promise" I started to the bathroom again and I faintly heard him say "Thank you Lisa" Who's Lisa?

I grabbed a bowl and filled it with cold water and I took a towel and rushed to the room. I dipped the towel into the bowl and squeezed it and dabbed it all over his body. I continued repeating it for a while until his body temperature reduced a bit. I didn't even know how long I've been up attending to him

He's had his eyes closed for a while and I was wondering if he got any rest since. I put the bowl and the towel away and a slight yawn escaped my lips. My eyes became heavy and a loud noise jerked me up.

I turned to see that it's the 7 o'clock alarm that rings for Andre's work. I went to the nightstand and turned off the alarm.

"What are you doing up?" Andres voice startled me and I yelped
"I turned off the alarm. You shouldn't be up, go back to bed" I said looking at how pale his face is. It seems like all the color of his skin has been drained out. His eyes are a bit red and his lips are dried and chapped.

"And who are you to tell me what to do?" He asked rudely and I'm beginning to miss the 3 AM Andre
"You can't seriously be thinking of going to work, you're not strong enough" I yelled.
He ignored what I said and attempted to stand up but his feet became wobbly and he sat back down on the bed
"See?" I said, gesturing towards him

"I need to get to work" he said looking at me
"You don't need to, just call work and tell them that you're home sick. You need medications and enough rest Andre" I rested on one of my hips. I need to sit down before I fall out of sleepiness.
"No" he said and attempted to stand up again and this time, he did.

If I'm not able to convince him to stay, there's one person who can. I rushed to the side stool to get to the intercom and I passed the dressing mirror on my way, I cringed at the sight of myself. My face is pale and the dark bags around my eyes are prominent. My eyes are red from lack of sleep and my hair is a mess.

I quickly placed the phone in my ear to make the call before Andre is strong enough to get to the bathroom
"Hello? Heather?" I asked through the phone
"Yes, Aurianna?"
"Can you please come here, I think Andre's sick"
"On my way"
"Make it quick please, he's planning on going to work"
"Not on my watch" she hung up. I turned and saw Andre heading to the closet

"Andre please, go back to bed" I begged although I'm not sure why
"Don't you get it Aurianna, I'm not going to Fall for this your pretentious innocence. You just can't fool me. Now, out of my way" he shouted

"She's not going anywhere neither are you" we both turned our heads to the sound of the voice and saw Heather. We both didn't even know when she got in
She walked over to us
"Look at you Andre, you're not strong enough to go to work. You're just a mess. Just take a look at yourself" she dragged him to stand in front of the dressing mirror"

He gave himself a once over through the mirror and scowled at his reflection
"I still need to go to work Heather. Those people will slack off if I'm not around"
"Is that why you want to risk your health?" I asked and they both turned to look at me probably forgotten that I'm in the room
