So after the new episode I decided to do a rewatch of Sanders Sides starting from the very beginning. And while I'm well aware that

1. The series itself was going to be a one-off video

2. Virgil was going to be a one-off character with Taking On Anxiety

3. They didn't have the Dark sides planned until around the Q&A episode

I still feel like this is kind of interesting to point out and bring attention to. I already made mention of this is in my "Logan's Hyperfixation Corner" book, but this warranted a bit more depth than a screenshot of me and a friend talking-

We all know at this point about Janus "Self-care" Sanders. His entire point in the newest episode (at the time of posting this is: Putting Others First- Selfishness Vs. Selflessness Redux)  was that Thomas needed to relax, and take some time for himself. To be 'selfish' a little bit more as not to overwork himself.

Now, all the way back in Taking On Anxiety, Virgil's introduction, Thomas and Lilly Singh go through a list of ways to "Get rid of" or lessening Anxiety. Rewatching it for the first time after the new episode made me realize that, all of the methods listed were things associated with self care.

Turning on a light-hearted TV show, reading a book, making calming observations, practicing self-reassurance and getting some rest.

Now that could be completely accidental, and it most likely is. But, I felt that it was worth bringing up that Janus' main goal in the new video would be to have Thomas do things that would lessen Virgil's "power" if you will-

But those are just my thoughts! Let me know yours and thank you for reading!

Byeeeee!
