It was late, after my Satisfying ecounter with the luna, I went into my bedroom,taking a hot shower.
Passing through the pack house,everyone was retiring to their beds,since the day was a depressing one.
There was quietness,except from low crying that came from different rooms.
I walked into the alpha office.
My gaze meeting,Lincoln who was sitting in the room staring into empty space,lost in thoughts.
I cleared my throat,gaining his attention. He looked at me,his gaze sad and tired. Events of today has affected him more. I knew he was questioning his ability to protect his people.
He relaxed on the sofa crossing his hands " Your awake?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes,Ineeded a warm body to bed for the night. "Shouldn't you be with your mate" I asked instead,making myself comfortable on my bed.
He looked away, sighing softly "I can't sleep,memory of those dead innocent children haunts me,i dont think i can ever forgive myself." he whispered.
I sighed placing my hands on his shoulders, as an act of comfort "It Is going to be okay brother ,Am here now.Everything will be fine" I whispered.
He simply nodded, holding my arms and taking comfort in my words " The meeting, must hold, only that way can we have answers to give to our people"
I nodded, standing up and thinking about his words "Am aware, tommorow after the bodies are put to rest then the pack meeting will hold. I can remind, the councilors if its what you need."
He shaked his head "There is no need for that they are already aware." Sighing, he continued "I forgot to inform you,many Pack members will be returning inculding my mates family, former delta and a whole lot of them. I hope it won't be too much on you?" He said sounding concerned.
A smile appeared on my face "You worry too much little brotherI can take good care of myself,who knows i might even find a mate" I teased trying to lighten the atmosphere.
He smiled,getting up and walking over his table "I will get some paper work done and then retire to bed.you should do the same its been a long day." I shaked my head,getting up as well "I must go for a run frist, then do that later,take care" I retorted leaving the room.
Lincoln watched his sister leave,a smile on his face. He was happy that he had her in a time like this.
As he busied himself trying to get the paper work done.
Erica walked into the woods not intrested in changing into her wolf.
From a distance she could see a young woman approach,taking a good look at her,she percieved the woman to be an omega and an unmated shewolf.
