I bolted up in bed screaming. Zack was by me in an instant. He had his arms around me and was telling me that I was fine. Why didn't I feel fine? My dream had felt so real. I pulled the covers off of  and to my amazement I had mud all over my feet. The white sheets were now brown and muddy. Zack quickly stood me up and was accessing my whole body checking me.

"Lily what the hell happened?" he asked me. I explained the two dreams I just had to him while he watched me with a concerned look on his face.

"It all felt so real. I could even feel my moms heartbeat when I was hugging her." I watched him as his started packing all of our things up.

"This isn't good. Get washed up quickly and get dressed. We need to get out of here now. He's probably already sent someone. We need to get on the road. The quicker we get to headquarters, the safer you will be." He said holding out my bag of things. I didnt even hesitate. I took the bag and went to the bathroom.

When I was done and came back in the room, I noticed that he already had everything packed in the car. We headed out the door and got into the car. Once we were on the road again and Zack seemed to calm down some, I decided to question him.

"So you said that you would tell me everything before, once we had taken a shower. Is it safe for you to tell me everything now?" I cautiously asked him.

With a sigh of resignation, he began to tell me everything. "Have you ever heard of Nephilim or the fallen ones?" he asked. I nodded.

"I think everyone has heard of them. They are the children of fallen angels. I don't know a great deal about them, just that they are mentioned in the Bible. The archangel Gabriel killed them all before the flood. What does this have to do with me?" I asked.

"Well, you got it partly right. Some angels were overcome with lust for humans and decided to leave the gates of heaven to walk upon the Earth. Those angels were also known as Nephilim. They had children with humans and their children are also known as Nephilim. They were such strong beings that their mothers died during childbirth. Gabriel killed most of them before the flood, but he didnt kill them all. He spared the lives of some of them because of Gods love for them. He gave them the job to keep peace between Angels, Vampires, Shapeshifters, Fairies, Demons, Witches, and all of the supernatural world. They were known as The Watchers. Your Father Azael, or Azazel was one of them. He didn't take his job serious and went rogue. He loved to seduce women and teach dark magic to humans. He started creating an army of Nephilim. They were very strong and he planned to use them to take over the world and corrupt it. He created a group of followers called the Gregori, or seducers of women. We were keeping an eye on him and were given the command to take them out. Gabriel saw the evil that he was creating and knew we had to strike fast. We were able to take most of them out, but your father and his right hand man Ezekiel escaped. They have been waiting years to come out of hiding and start their army again. That is where you come into the picture." He said pointing at me.

"How does this have anything to do with me. My mother did not die when she had me. Remember, she just recently died in a car accident! Also, my mom told me my dad died when I was a baby. There is no way that my dad is an angel, or Nephilim. She would have told me that. Besides if you havent taken a good enough look yet. I have no wings." I said pointing to my back.

He gave me a long and thoughtful look before answering, as if he was debating how to say what he needed to. " Lily, your mother did die when she had you. Jenna was not your blood mother. Azael had many women. Your mother was a human named Anna. She was a lovely woman but was corrupted by your father. We showed up right after your birth that day. Our army was fighting and I went upstairs to find your father. I found him in the bedroom next to your dead mother, with you in his arms. It was a long and hard battle, but in the end your father fled before I could kill him. I knew there was something special about you, and despite Gabriels orders I could not end your life that day. I talked him into letting you live in the human world. He too thinks thought that you were too special to let you die. We gave a witch, Jenna, the task of raising you as her own. She did a very good job over the years hiding you from your father. A week before she died, she sent me a message telling me that you were no longer safe and she thought your father was closing in on your location. That is why I am here now and I promise I will keep you safe." He said with sincerity.

"This is just so much to take in. Jenna wasnt my real mother. I wonder why she never told me. So what makes me so special and why does my father want me? I may be able to see things, and heal quickly but I dont know what he could possibly want with me." I asked.

"You, My dear are the first, and only female Nephilim. You are very special indeed. We arent one hundred percent sure what your father wants with you, but Gabriel thinks he may be wanting you to build a stronger army. I'm bringing you to our headquarters so that we can train you and protect you at the same time." He answered.

I didn't even have the strength to ask him anything else. Things are way more serious than I had originally thought. Everything that I had ever known about my life was a lie. I was alive because of Zack. He made sure that I was alive and tried to give me as normal of a life as I could lead. I owed him my trust and my life.

"Thank you for everything. I have waited for a long time to understand why I am this way. I never could have imagined it was this big though. I owe you my life for saving me. I have to wonder though am I really worth all of this trouble. Maybe it would have been easier to just let me die." I said as I laid my head against the window.

He wearily eyed me for a second before answering, " You don't realize how special you are. I knew from the moment that I saw you, you will do amazing things. I know its a lot to take in. Why don't you just take a nap until we get there. I will wake you up."

Someone was shaking my shoulder. I really didn't want to get up so I shrugged them off. Get up sleepy head. We have finally arrived. Zack said chuckling.

I opened my eyes and looked out the window. We were parked in front of the most gorgeous Victorian mansion that I had ever seen. It had a brownstone exterior, four-story tower, overhanging eaves, verandas, and ornate windows. I was in awe of this places beauty. Zack led me to the door and entered a code into the security system for us to gain entry. It may have been historical, but it definitely had an up to date security system. As we entered a studied the interior. The inside was decorated with elaborate paintings of old historical battles, carpets, gas lighting fixtures, and stained glass. I have only seen homes like this is movies.

"We've been waiting on you Zack, if you hadn't gotten here today we were going to go looking for you. Im assuming since it took you so long, Azael must have given you some trouble." I looked up to see a very well dressed man coming down the stairs. So thats who was speaking.

"Hey Jeremiah, meet Lily. We had a very long trip here and she is just now finding out everything. I think maybe we should wait until later to talk about this." Zack told Jeremiah.

Jeremiah was a little shorter than Zack but was not a small man at all. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. Of course he was easy on the eyes. He must be a Nephilim too if he was here. That would explain why he was so good looking. " Hi, Jeremiah, I'd like to say its nice to meet you but I'd be lying. Maybe if I had met you under different circumstance but unfortunately I have met you at the worst time possible. So how many people stay here?" I say turning to Zack.

"Wow, she sure is a sweet one brother. She is definitely nothing like you described. I like her!" Jeremiah said with a smile.

"It would be nice if you two didn't speak about me like I'm not here." I told them.

"Sorry, sweetheart. I'll get someone to show you to your room while I catch Jeremiah up about the last couple of days. Its important that he understands everything that happened so that we can protect you better." Zack said as he motioned for a man in the corner to get my things. "This is Liam, he will bring you and your things to the room you will be staying in while you're here."

Liam showed me to my room and put my things on the floor. I tried to make conversation with him but he didn't seem to be too chatty. He didnt mind looking me up and down several times before smirking and walking out of the room. I was still exhausted so I made my way over to the bed and laid down. It shouldn't hurt for me to take a nap, as long as nobody tries to visit me in it again.
