LESSON

"Pass your papers... 1, 2, 3..."
I heard our teacher counting, so we pass our paper from last row to front row, ganun kami ka-organisado. Finals namin ngayon at lahat ay kabado. Nagreview naman ako pero parang wala sa nireview ko yung lumabas sa exam.

One of my classmate raise her hand.

"Ma'am? Bat wala po sa reviewer yung inexam namin?" ang tapang niya magtanong HAHAHA. Pero totoo, wala nga dun sa ni-review ko yung exam namin, more on writings eh---essay. Bakit nga ba yun ang exam namin ngayon?

Sa subject niya lang kami nagkaroon ng essay exam.

Ngumiti lang ang Teacher namin.
"Meron yun. Kung nakinig ka at natuto ka sa past lessons natin, masasagutan mo yun." Nagsimulang magbulungan ang mga kaklase ko.

"Are you not confident on your answers?" dagdag pa ng Teacher namin. Lahat kami natahimik.

She started to tell a story.

"I'm also a student before I get here in my position. One of my teacher told me this: 'Don't give Up, everything is possible and nothing is impossible. Even if its too hard to pass, you can make it. Just don't give up and believe in yourself.'" *long time of silence* then she continue to her story.

"I'm not a Top student, nor a Deans lister. I'm just a normal student sitting at the last row way back my school years. Yes I'm studious yet get a low grade. I asked her about it, and she told me that grades is just a 'number' and standards or pre-requisite to pass before we face the real world. She also give us this type exam." She lifted our examination papers.

"Essay right?" we nod and continue to listen to her story.

"This exam proves how effective I am as your teacher. If I make an impact to you or put some wisdom in your head and lesson to your heart.  You can answers this exam easily. The way you explain your answers to every questions here is my output not only yours. Because I want everyone in this room to pass. If I gave you a low grade or you fail, it also my Failure. Every Teachers success proves by his or her students. So, Don't give up and be confident that you can pass this Finals." We started to clap. Napahanga ako sa Teacher namin. Sana lahat ng Teachers ganito.  Mahirap mag-aral pero kung may puso ka sa ginagawa mo, mararamdaman at mararamdaman mo yun, yun ang aral na hindi ko makakalimutan.
