Ch. 5

Mingyu's P.O.V

Ring! Ring! Ring!

I looked at my phone before picking up

"What?" I say while getting annoyed of just looking at her name

"Did you buy my ring yet Mingyu?"

"No, I'm busy" 

"But you have a free day today, why are you lying to me?"

"Because I ha-"

I felt my phone being taken away from my ear and saw the one and only Wonwoo with it, "I'm sorry, but we're busy right now so please call a different time, I need to have my gelato, Bye." I saw as Wonwoo hung up and put my phone in his bag. "Hey give it back!" I say while trying to reach for his bag, "No, only after you eat gelato with me" he says while suddenly grabbing my hand in his and walking. 

I felt the weird feeling fill my stomach again and quickly took my hand from him, "Why are you being like this? We met a day ago, whats wrong with you?!" I yell and I saw him pout, "I just wanted to" he mumbled while kicking rocks beneath his foot. "I have a life to deal with so give me my phone" I say while sticking my hand out. 

"No" I heard him say and then he grabbed my hand and we started running again. This time I didn't pull away, I felt the feeling again but ignored it as we ran and went into an ice cream shop. He never listens. As we got in I felt Wonwoo let go of my hand and run to look at the gelato. I followed him and looked at how excited he looked and felt something again. 

"Wonwoo?!"

I looked at where the voice came from and saw a tall and lean guy with a mullet walking towards Wonwoo.

"Minghao?!" I looked back at Wonwoo to see him with his arms wide open and running to the Minghao dude. I awkwardly stood there not knowing what to do when they hugged. "I've missed you so much Wonu" Minghao said as he pulled away from their hug and smiled widely, "Me too Hao" Wonwoo's smile was so big that it looked like it hurts. "Let's exchange numbers" Minghao says as he brings his phone out and Wonwoo types his number in there, then hands it back.

As I standing there awkwardly annoyed, I tried to grab Wonwoo's bag but couldn't, "Wonwoo, you have company now, so give me my phone back" I said as I try to grab his bag, "What? No, wait and stay put for a few minutes" I scoff and roll my eyes. "Who's this Wonu? Your boyfriend?" 

"NO!" we both yell at the same time, as I turned around I saw Minghao's eyes go wide, "Kim Mingyu?!" I hear him yell which shocked me. I nod slowly and look at him "What? You know each other?" Wonwoo said as he looks confused, "No, this is the soon-to-be CEO of Kim Enterprise" Minghao says as he looks at Wonwoo shocked. "What's that?" I hear him say, "Stupid you don't even know what that is, anyways give me my phone back" I say while glaring at him. 

"I already said no, N O" he says while shaking his head, "You can have it after we get gelato" he says while grabbing my hand again. "Sorry Minghao, let's catch up later, right now I have to take care of him before he runs away" Wonwoo says as he waves at Minghao and takes me to the gelato, "Which one do you want?" I hear him say. "My phone" I reply while staring at him. "I'll get you one" he says while starting to talk to the cashier. 

After ordering our gelato, we started to walk to god knows where. The weird thing is that I was getting used to Wonwoo's hand. "Where are we going now?" I ask while sighing, "We're going back" he says. I nod my head.

Finally, I'm getting tired and annoyed

"What's the Kim Enterprise?" I hear him say beside me, "It's a company" I reply while eating the delicious gelato in my hand, "Seems boring" he says while shrugging. I ignore him and listen to singers singing up and down the streets, "Try this" I look down to see red gelato close to my mouth, "No thank you" I say while stepping back "Oh come on, just try it" he says while bringing it closer to my face, I rolled my eyes and try some of it, "It tastes good" I say as I see a satisfied grin on his face. 

Suddenly, we heard a phone ring which turned out to be Wonwoo's. The ID read 'My Boo❤'

Is he taken?

I thought as a not so good feeling was felt in my stomach. 

Not my business

To grab his phone Wonwoo takes his hand away from mine and accepts the phone quickly with a big smile.

"Hey Boo"

"Where are you Wonu?" 

I could tell it was a boy, was he gay?

"With my client" he says while looking at me then eating his gelato

"Do I need to come save you Won?"

"No, I'm heading back anyways"

"Okay, hurry up I'm bored"

"Yes, Mr. Boo, I'm on my way you big baby. Bye"

"Bye Mr. Jeon!"

Wonwoo hangs up and looks at me then turns around. "Let's go" he says while we starts walking again but this time in silence. 

A few minutes later we arrive, "My phone" I say as I spot my car, "here you go" Wonwoo says taking it out and placing it in my hand. As I start walking to the car I hear my name being called, "Wait, Mingyu!!" I turn around to see him standing at the same place from before. "Thank you for today, I really had fun" he says while smiling and looking me in the eyes, "Wish I could say the same" I mumble. He chuckles and I could see his eyes shining brightly. 

Beautiful 

I thought as I looked at him, "Anyways, I wanted to say, let's meet tomorrow again here at the same time. Also don't forget to bring shorts and extra clothes. I'll be waiting for you, don't make me wait too long" I hear him say, then he gives me a little wave and turns around to walk away.

I felt my whole body starting to feel weird at the last thing he said.

I need to get a grip on myself, this isn't right
