I wanna be your last breath, before we suffocate. A kiss you can't forget. Like a wedding on a rainy day. The chills keep shootin' down the back of my neck. Like a freight train poundin' in the pit of my chest. Cause when I got a taste of you, I found something I can sink my teeth into. It's an ache that never heals, it's the deepest cut you feel. It's the thing in you that feeds the animal in me.
- Animal in me (By Motley Crue)
(Explicit chapter warning)
Rebel put the kids to bed and went to shower. The whole time she was showering, her thoughts were on her husband.
Mick had been really odd and distant lately, he wasn't calling to talk to her or the kids like the other tours. Sure at the start of this tour he had, but he seemed to suddenly stop around October. Nikki hadn't called anyone in awhile either, but Tommy had been calling Heather, so Rebel knew the guys were alright. But she felt off, why wasn't her husband calling her? She tried to call around to talk to him, but she never got an answer. It was now December and he hardly called.
After her shower ended she slipped on one of her husbands shirts, and her favorite pare of underwear, before she crawled into the large bed, pulling Mick's pillow closer she sighed. Rebel had a bad feeling in her gut, she just hoped that she was wrong about it, after all Mick loved her.
Rebel jumped awake after a small crash came from the foot of the bed, she went to sit up, when she felt a hand cover her mouth and someone force her to stay laying down. Her brown eyes grew in fear and shock, it was pitch black in the bedroom and she had no idea what time it was, or who the person was. Her heart was beating like crazy and questions filled her mind.
Where the kids alright? Who was standing over her, covering her mouth? Were there more than o person? How did they get into the house? Was this person above her going to kill her?
She knew Mick kept a handgun in the nightstand, but she didn't know if she could actually get to it, or if the stranger already had some kind of weapon pointed at her. She wasn't ready to die, she'd fight to save herself and her children, but she had a feeling the shadow person above her was much stronger than her.
She closed her eyes and said a silent prayer, all she wanted was Stormy, Frankie and Erik to be okay, anything could happen to her- Just keep her children safe......Her body started to shaking harder when she felt a hand run up her leg bare leg. She closed her eyes tighter and whimpered, but the sound was muffled do to the large hand covering her mouth. The bedside lamp was turned on and she gulped. She didn't want to see whoever was gong to most likely rape and kill her in her own bedroom.
"Don't scream." Rebel's eyes shot open and a sigh of relief left her. The hand was removed from her mouth and she took a deep breath, finally able to breath. "What the hell Mick!" She snapped trying to calm down after almost having a heart attack. She clutched her chest and took a few deep breaths looking her husband over.
Mick was standing over her side of the bed, his bags were sitting at the foot and he was shirtless. showing hi tattoos. The small crash most have been his guitar falling over, since Rebel noticed it laying oddly on the floor. Mick sighed pulling the blankets back from the bed, after he removed his jeans. "Why didn't you just say something instead of covering my mouth like that!?" Rebel snapped, feeling him run his hands on her leg again, but this time she knew it was him, not some random killer in her room. He wasn't talking, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to stop. Why would he freak her out like that?
"Mick Mars, answer me! You had me thinking someone broke in and was going to kill me!"
Mick looked away from her legs, but he couldn't look her in the eyes. The guitarist gulped, moving his hands under the top she had on and up her body. "I'm sorry Princess." There was a mix of emotions in his voice that confused Rebel. She didn't understand that he wasn't apologizing for scaring her, he was apologizing for something she had no clue about. The guilt had eaten away at him, that's why he hadn't called in so long, he didn't know what to say.
