C went down the hallways. He adjusted his white hair and black hat as he turned around a corner. He had his pokemon secured to the belt around his waist. He went past the sleeping quarters, which was one big room with a lot of bunkbeds, with a small space to lay down your things on secured to them, the training room, where the brown haired grunt named Calvin fought him, as well as some other rooms he hadn't entered yet.
After walking for a bit he found the area for healing your pokemon, he opened the door and entered. A female grunt with messy orange hair and wearing the typical female grunt uniform stood where infront of the device, which was mostly found in Pokecenters. C looked at her, scanning her as he walked closer. "Hello. How can I help you?" The female asked, her voice was nice, calming and resembled the voice of the person that had been the closest to our protagonist, the person had been Sophie, at least that was what C had always called her."C-Can you heal my Pokemon?" C asked, trying not to sound nervous, as he was since he thought Sophie was dead, yet this girl behind the counter was like Sophie, except the hairstyle and colour but she still appeared like Sophie to Chris. "Yes. I can. May I have them for a bit?" The female asked, before C placed the pokeballs on the counter. The female took them and put them onto the device. "So who're you?" She asked C. "C-Cis. G-grunt 298." He replied, his voice shaking a bit. He was blushing under his mask, which luckily wasn't visible to the female. "Riley. Grunt 300. I'm new and am getting introduced tomorrow." The female grunt replied. She smiled under her mask, she was a nice person, that was, for whatever reason, impressed by and agreed with the plan of the team she joined, just a week ago.
"Nice to meet you Riley." C said as he tried to be nice to her,yet he wasn't good at being nice, as he never had to fully be and deemed it useless, which made him direct and seem harsh and disrespectfull. Someone needed to show him what effects being nice had at some points in time.
"Nice to meet you too 298." She said and smiled, forgetting it wasn't visible through her mask. She gave her Cs pokempn back. "I feel like you'd be a great leader. Strict yet caring about others and your pokemon." She said in a nice tone, meaning fully what she had just said, as she was one of the more honest grunts. "Thanks. I am not an upper grunt. Sorry." C said and grabbed his pokemon and secured the balls they resided in to his waist.A kid with brown hair went to the harbour of Virbark City. He was male and wore a blue jacket and white pants along red shoes and a similar coloured hat, his hair styled into spikes. He had a white bag on his back and wanted to get to the next gym to get to the lueage and become champion. He was stopped by 3 team plasma grunts. "Hey you're not getting past!" A male one said. The poison type gym leader and the rival of the kid came to help, each taking on one of the grunts. "You really think you could beat me?" The grunt asked, it was a new one, with them being someone that C didn't want to have anything to do with, as he hated arrogant people more than regular normal people. The grunt had weak pokemon with him, yet he didn't think he could be beat, for some bizzare reason. His pokemon were only at the levels of 15 to 20.
The kid managed beat him in a few minutes and the 3 grunts blasted of to the frigate, as they all had been defeated by the three trainers.
"What idiots." The kid said and streached. "Good job Nate . Lets go to Stratos City and get the next badge." The rival of the kid said. He went to the docks. "Wait for me Hugh!" The kid that apparently was called Nate yelled after his rival and ran after him.
The two kids went onto the ship and looked of the side of it, excited for what kind of city awaited the new trainers. "What will you do 1st Hugh?" Nate broke the slightly awkward silence between the two. "I will heal my pokemon and go to the gym." Hugh replied as he adjusted his hair. "I may try a Stratos Icecream. Heard good things about it." Nate said and smiled. "I will check out the gym too obviously." He addes before Hugh could say anything. "Thought so." Hugh said. He smiled and the two trainers continued chatting about basically everything.
