Chapter 9

Yuna and Yeji have just entered the lunch room and sat down at their table with their food.

Chaeryeong and Lia sit down with them with their food as well. They all ate except for Yuna, she was busy searching the lunchroom for a certain someone.

Lia took note of this and spoke. "Yuna? You okay? Eat, you were complaing about how hungry you were in second period." she said.

"I know, I know. But, where's Ryujin? She was here this morning!" Yuna said, still looking around.

"Uh, she's sitting with Heejin and Hyunjin. Remember? She told us this morning." Yeji raised an eyebrow.

"Oh— Right.." Yuna sighed, turning back to her seat and looking at her food.

Chaeryeong stopped eating before turning to Yuna, eyeing her closely.

"Yuna, are you jealous?" She asked.

"What? No! Of who?" Yuna's eyes widened.

"Hyunjin and Heejin! Are you jealous that they're with Ryujin?" Chaeryeong holds in a laugh. "No! Not at all! She can have other friends!" Yuna whined.

"Pfft, okay." Chaeryeong laughed before turning back to her food.

Yuna looked around once more, her eyes landing on Hyunjin, Heejin and Ryujin.

She watches them closely. Seeing Hyunjin say something and both Heejin and Ryujin crack up in laughter.

She frowns.

'Am I jealous?' She thought to herself.

She turned away and had an upset look on her face.

"Oh, chill Yuna. Neither of them are interested." Yeji smiled.

"How do you know that? Not.. that I care because.. I'm not jealous.. I'm just wondering." Yuna lifted her head to look at Yeji.

"Ha, okay," Yeji rolled her eyes playfully, "Hyunjin and Heejin are dating. They have no interest in Ryujin, they were all friends back in middle school."

'Okay good.' Yuna thought to herself, feeling a bit relieved.

"Okay good? Jeez, Yuna. She's whipped whipped." Chaeryeong laughed.

'Oh, shit, I said that out loud?' Yuna gasped. Her face turning red.

All three girls look at her and laugh. "Aw, baby Yuna's jealous." Yeji pinches Yuna's cheeks.

"Am not! Ryujin can date anyone she wants to date!" Yuna pushes Yeji's hands away.

While Lia, Yeji and Chaeryeong were teasing their youngest, Ryujin, Heejin and Hyunjin were at their table throwing dumb dad jokes at each other.

They all laughed and giggled before Hyunjin spoke with seriousness. "Hey uh, Jinnie? Your uh.. friend, red-head, she's been staring a lot. Ya'll got something going on?" She asked Ryujin.

Ryujin turned her head to glance at her other friends, to see them all smiling and messing with Yuna.

Ryujin turned back to Hyunjin and Heejin. "Uh, no. Probably have some questions or whatever." Ryujin shakes her head.

"Hm. Let's hope none of them are mad at you." Heejin nodded. "Mad at me? For what?" Ryujin looked at Heejin with a confused look.

"For sitting with us." Heejin answered.
"They won't be mad. Why would they be? You guys are my friends too, they should have no problem with that!" Ryujin huffed.

"Heejin's not serious, she's just overreacting. She's had problems with some people, sorry about that." Hyunjin covered Heejin's ears. Ryujin sighed and nodded her head.

"Sorry! Not my fault you're friends with the whole damn school!" Heejin exclaimed, glaring at her girlfriend. In which, Hyunjin glared back. "So? I don't like any of them the way I like you! You're my girlfriend!" Hyunjin embraced Heejin with a tight hug and whined.

Ryujin ignored the couple at turned back to Yuna's table.

She hopes none of them are upset at her, especially Yuna.
