Ryujin sat in the same spot behind Yuna's bed, peering over the sheets as she heard the door open.
Yuna walked in with a finger over her mouth, whispering, "Come on, we'll have to sneak out.."
Ryujin sighed and groaned, "Oh come on.." she whined before standing up and following Yuna out of her room.
They quietly walk down the staircase, Ryujin being very cautious and quiet as to not make any noise attracting her mother.
Once they made it to the living room, Yuna turned to Ryujin, "Stay here." she whispered before running into the kitchen where Ryujin assumed her mother was.
Ryujin stood very still, just ready to leave. Maybe it was too soon to come here, I should've waited..
Yuna walked back to Ryujin, "Come on." she grabbed Ryujin's arms and opened the door, walking out and pulling Ryujin behind her.
They ran until the house was out of sight and then they started walking, both panting because they were tired from all of it.
Ryujin noticed the bag on Yuna's shoulder and spoke up, "What did you tell her?" she raised an eyebrow.
Yuna shrugged, a sly smile on her face. "I told her I was going to Chaeryeong's house to study for the night, and if I ended up staying over that I'll just bring a change of clothes in case." she said.
Ryujin just stared at her in confusion, as if sensing it, Yuna turned her head to Ryujin and laughed, "I'm not actually going to Chaeryeong's house, Ryujin! We're going to your house!" she nudged the shorter girl.
Ryujin nodded, "Well then." she mumbled. Yuna heard it loud and clear, looking down at Ryujin with a worried look.
"Do you.. not want me to go with you? I can go back.." Yuna stopped, pointing a finger back to where they just came from. Ryujin quickly shook her head and grabbed Yuna's hand. "Nono, come on, let's go." they sped up and walked to Ryujin's home.
They kept walking until they saw Ryujin's house and she quickly unlocked the door, opening it and pulling Yuna in.
"What was it th—" Yuna spoke up but Ryujin quickly cut her off.
"Would you be my girlfriend? I know it's sudden but everything has happened so quickly and I just can't hold my feelings for you any longer. I'm sorry for the sudden confession, even when your mom hates me but I can't keep love for you locked inside forever, so please." Ryujin rambled on, not making eye contact with Yuna.
Both of their faces hot in red from shock and embarrassment.
Yuna just stood there, her eyes wide and her her mouth agape. "What?"
"I said.. would you be.. my girlfriend.." Ryujin repeated, saying it breathessly, the silence is really killing her.
"Wait.. What? Are you serious?"
Ryujin looked up at Yuna, worry plastered all over her face. Ryujin shrinks down in embarrassment and fear, feeling she'll say no. "I-I'm sorry for asking.." she felt the tears threatening to fall out of her eyes.
Yuna didn't allow this, in fact, She took Ryujin's face in her hands and held her in place, kissing her deeply. She pulled away and stared into Ryujin's wide and bloodshot eyes.
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend, Ryujinie." Yuna smiled.
Ryujin's eyes got wider, if that was even possible. "R-Really..?" she sniffed, a smile creeping onto her face.
Yuna hugged Ryujin tightly. "I wanted to ask sooner but I was afraid you wouldn't want me.."
Ryujin's smile got wider and wider with each word that spilled from Yuna's mouth and eventually she returned Yuna's hug only tighter.
"I love you, Yuna.."
"I love you too, Ryujin."
That night, it all went as planned. They stayed at Ryujin's house for the rest of the day, and knew they would go to school in the morning. They just wanted to spend their first night together.. as a couple.
