Xavier's POV
After two weeks --In house
I was getting ready to go and I got a call from Aaron. I answered "Hey! What's up?" He replied "Nothing much; I just wanted to remind you about my company's 75th Anniversary party is on Saturday, so that you don't forget like last time."

I rolled my eyes and replied " I haven't forgotten last time also I was just freaking 5 minutes late and you made a fuss of that" I can feel that he rolled his eyes and he said "This time ,Be on time. Hey that's was a good rhyme; you know what Xavi I should be poet." I hung up the call because I can't tolerate his muck ideas.

At Office
After analysing Prachi, I think I should make her head of Finance department and after all Mr.White our current Head of finance department is going retire this week, I'll inform her in Aaron's party.

I don't know what but Prachi's simplicity attracts me more than my one-night-stand .Wait a second why I'm comparing her, I think I need a laid but I promised dad that I have to leave those badboys habits before taking over in the business.

And if my dad founds out about me having me a affair then he will make me marry to that girl. But I don't want to marry at 25😑.Ugh, leave it!

I called Prachi and within minutes she came, she was wearing a beautiful red maxi dress

and her dress hugging her curves perfectly not too tight nor too loose which was making her look more ravishing and eata- she said "Mr Knight, you want something."

I came back to reality and cleared my throat and said "yes, day after tomorrow, there is 75th Anniversary of Lennon's Corporation and you will be with me." She nodded and said " today's is there one meeting which you postponed yesterday."

I replied "Okay, I'll attend that meeting." She nodded and asked "Anything else?" I replied "No, but by the way you make good coffee."

She smiled

but soon it replaced in shocked

, she asked "How did you get to know that I was the one who make coffee for you."

I smirked and started walking towards her but Aaron barged in and saw Prachi and said "Hey Prachi! Why are you here go for shopping with Cassie and I have work with Xavier. See you in party Marshmallow." I innerly groaned at Aaron's nickname for her.

Cassie was behind Aaron, after greeting me she dragged Prachi with her. I pouted and after seeing me Aaron smirked and said "Steve was right." I asked him" At what thing Steve was right?"
He sings "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say "Yes"."
I put fingers in ears so I don't become deaf because of his terrible singing skill.

Prachi's POV
I said "Woah Cassie slow down. We are not going for marathon" She giggled and started walking towards parking lot.

She walks towards her car

and said "Get in, first we will go to my house as I have to take a shower" she smells her underarms and said "YUCK. After taking shower we will go for shopping" she squealed at end. I shook my head at her babyish antics.

We reached her and I can describe you the whole house was freaking PINK

seriously who likes one colour so much, and here I don't know my favourite colour 🤣. She asked "How is my house?" I replied "It would be beautiful if it is not pink" she playfully glared at me and said "Pink is my favouritest colour."

I frowned and said "favouritest is not a word. But by looking at your house and car it looks like you belong to a wealthy family then why you are working as a PA." She sighs and said "It's a punishment, I belonged to a strict catholic Christian family in which there's a rule you cannot work because you're a woman and your work is to look after kids and home and I don't want to waste years of study for that stupid rule so I ran away and my big brother supported me. These are the gifts from him." I clapped for her and said "You are damn brave" .

She replied "And beautiful also. Okay now I am going for shower you can have some cupcakes"

she passed a tray full of cupcakes and without wasting any time I started devouring the cupcakes and she laughed at my action.
