Working for the First Order isn't as bad as it may seem. You truly love your job and the people that you work with and you're glad you're where you are. The only flaw is you don't necessarily agree with the goal of the First Order. Sure, you are contributing to the achievement of the Supreme Leader and the First Order but something about helping them murder innocent people for rule of the galaxy doesn't sit right with you. You know better than to express these feelings with anyone, even your closest friends because you know the Supreme Leader has eyes and ears everywhere and no matter how quiet you are about it, he'll find out and who knows what he'll do to you. You've only heard about the short fuse of the Supreme Leader and stories of his rage and brutality shake you to your core. You've never laid eyes on him either, only hearing of his height and muscular build and rumors that his face, hidden behind his intimidating mask is deformed and contorted from many battles and fits of fury. But something about him intrigues you. You want to know his stories, his motives, his goals other than destroying the Resistance but you don't think it's worth your life. You're sitting in the employee mess hall eating your lunch when you hear the unmistakable stomping of Storm Trooper boots echoing down the hallway toward you. You straighten up in your seat when they enter the room.

"Y/L/N?" One of them calls.

Your heart freezes in your chest and your breath hitches in your throat.

"Y/L/N!" He barks again.

You stand up, your legs feeling like they are going to collapse under you.

"The Supreme Leader would like to speak to you. Now." He says.

Your ears feel like they're stuffed with cotton and your mouth is dry. Kylo Ren wants to talk to you? Why? You've never seen him or talked to him a day in your life. You know nothing about him other than he's your boss, trying to take over the galaxy. What does he want from you?

"Now, means now." A Storm Trooper grumbles.

"Right." You whisper, pleading your feet to move.

When they do, it feels like there are blocks of lead on your shoes and you're walking in slow motion. You walk behind the Troopers through the halls of the ship, your mind racing with questions and also blank at the same time before you know it, the Troopers have stopped in front of a set of massive doors. They slide open to a dark room, few furnishings but you realize it's a bedroom when you see a bed with black sheets. These are Kylo Ren's chambers. Your breathing speeds up as well as your heart. You're so terrified that you don't even realize it when the Troopers leave you and the doors shut behind you. You're frozen in your spot, eyes wide as you look around, waiting for him to step from the darkness.

"Y/N." You hear, the voice distorter in his helmet making fear shoot through your body.

Your eyes frantically search for him in the darkness.

How does he know your name?

"I know everyone on this ship." He says.

He can hear you?

"Yes." He says, emerging from a corner of the room.

He's dressed in all black, his imposing height making you feel small and vulnerable. Your eyes go straight to his saber on his hip, sweating at the thought of him slicing you in half with it.

"I don't plan on doing that...if you answer my questions." He says.

Goosebumps of fear pop up all over your body. You watch with anxiety as he raises his hands to the sides of his mask, the latches hissing as they are released. You prepare yourself for something terrible but your eyes involuntarily go wide with shock.

He's handsome. Very handsome.

His wavy, raven black hair frames his chiseled face, his jawline is sharp, and his lips plump and pink. His only flaw, a scar on his right side that spans across his forehead, eye, cheek, and down his neck. But even that is beautiful.

"Like I said. Answer my questions, and you can leave." He says, his voice deep and smooth without the distortion of his mask.

"Y--Yes Supreme L--Leader." You whisper, your voice shaking violently.

"You're scared." He says, taking a step toward you.

You fight every muscle in your body, screaming at you to step away from him.

"No--No Supreme Leader." Trying your best to sound as confident as possible.

"I can hear what's inside your head. You're terrified." He says.

He's eerily calm, which makes you even more afraid.

"Don't lie to me." He says through clenched teeth.

"I'm s--sorry Supreme Leader." You whimper.

"Why don't you believe in the First Order?" He asks, quickly changing the subject.

"What?" You say quietly, your heart starting to race in fear.

"I can see inside your head. Don't lie to me. Why don't you believe in the First Order." He says, his leather gloves squeaking as he clenches his fists.

"Sir I don't know--" You begin but a searing, screaming pain fills your head.

You wail, grabbing your head and falling to the floor. Your thoughts from earlier in the day race through your mind and almost as soon as it had begun, the agony inside your head stops. You open your eyes, breathing heavily.

"It will be much easier for you if you tell the truth. I will get what I want from you. Stand up." He says.

You gather yourself and stand, your legs feeling like jello.

"You don't like that you help kill people. Why not?" He asks.

You stay silent, trying to find the words to explain yourself. You suddenly feel a clamping around your neck, closing off your breathing. You fight for air.

"Answer me." Kylo says angrily, shaking with fury.

"O--Okay." You manage to choke out.

He releases the Force from your neck and you gulp in air. He waits for a moment for you to catch your breath and you look into his hazel eyes, burning with anger. You can literally feel the waves of energy and rage rolling off of him. You prepare yourself for what you're about to say, knowing these might be the last seconds of your life.

"I think what you do is wrong. Murdering innocent people for your own gain, taking your anger out on other people! It's--It's just horrible!" You shout, letting your emotions get the best of you.

He takes another step toward you.

"You're a monster Kylo Ren! A monster!" You cry.

A small, barely noticeable smirk plays on his lips.

"You know you're quite the enigma Y/N. You confuse me." He says.

You're completely taken off guard and you furrow your eyebrows.

"I've been watching you, listening to you for a while now. Your thoughts are...compelling to say the least." He says.

Kylo Ren has been watching you?

"I have. You're alluring. I can't get you out of my head and it's infuriating." He says, taking another step toward you.

You can feel the heat from his body. You're shaking with fear or excitement, but you can't figure out which. He grips your chin in his gloved hand, his eyes staring into yours. Without warning, his perfect plump lips are on yours and you're melting into his touch. His kiss is rough and aggressive but somehow sweet at the same time. He is completely intoxicating and you never want to let go of him. You both pull away for air, breathing heavily in silence. His hand is still on your chin and his thumb pulls on your lip, dragging it down and letting it snap back into place.

"Get back to work." He whispers, letting you go, replacing his mask and disappearing into another room.

You're frozen in place, trying to wrap your mind around what just happened. You hear the doors open behind you and you take that as your signal to leave. As you walk alone back through the hallways, you know that won't be the last time you see Kylo Ren.
