"guy" the group could here jd's continues knocking on the white door that led to the couple apartment.
"I can here someone coming,"
on the phone, the group could see lilah and Bailey crying as they watched from their homes, unable to get to the girl.
chase and austin could be heard discussing the directions to get to rudy's apartment while maddie held the phone so her and drew could see what jd was doing.
"jd?" They all froze when they heard the tired voice of Winston Parker. Everyone, but chase who was driving, was now looking at the girl. She definitely looked like she just woke up and stumbled out of bed.
considering how early it was, they were really surprised.
"Winnie," jd's hands were shaking as he gave the woman a hug (they had all been quarantined for a very long time.) They could here rudy in the background asking what happened.
"you guys haven't heard?"
"no..." the girl gave her on-screen brother a confused look, "is that the group on the phone. I always put mine on silent during the night."
"Winnie, you need to get your phone and take a seat,"
the girl was seen giving a confused look before dispearing into the bedroom to retreave her phone.
"bro," rudy came forward with a frown, looking down to see all of their friends on facetime together. "what's going on?"
before jonathan got the chance to reply, the two boys raced into the bedroom when they heard a loud 'thunk'. everyone on the phone was yelling and demanding to know what was going on. maddie and drew were yelling at chase to go faster, while austin was now holding the phone. bailey demanding to know what was going on and lilah was still crying.
jd and rudy barged into the room to see winnie on the floor, crying, with her phone across the room. it was still light up and ringing none stop.
"winnie," jd whispered, giving rudy his phone so the group can explain what was going on. "it's gonna be okay,"
"i can't belive it," winnie sobbed, looking up at jonathan, "did you see any of them."
when the boy nodded sadly, winnie let out a dry sob.
