[Isabella's Perspective]

"Tag."

Rojan flinched and looked over his shoulder. "Wha-"

"I'm bewildered you're the first one I caught." I told him.

"Ugh fine, you win this time." he said and walked towards the other children near the House pointed upwards. I diverted my attention to the tree above him. On the tree was Aela, her back turned and was squatting on a thick branch, clearly on patrol. I immediately crouched behind the bush Fleo was in when Aela jerked her head in our direction.

She climbed down and landed with a quiet thud.

"Hey." I put a hand in her shoulder from behind.

"Hey-" Aela looked at me. "Oh, dammit."

"See ya!" I told her.

"Nice catch, Isabella." she chuckled and dashed off.

"Morgan already caught Clara." Fleo spoke behind me.

"How about the others?"

"I dunno."

"Okay, let's go!"

Fleo found another Bush and hid under it.

I scouted the trees again. I spotted Daffy a few trees away. She was also on lookout. Then she dashed towards the heart of the forest. I waited a few seconds before I followed suit.

"Tag!" I caught up with her.

"Ahh!" Daffy jumped. "You sure did get the easy ones huh?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Junie and Minmin won't make it easy for you." she laughed.

"I know." I chuckled.

"Good luck!" Daffy waved and retreated to the House.

Something snapped behind me. I turned to see Axel on the floor with a broken twig by his foot.

I lent him a hand. "Ax-"

"I got him, Isa." Morgan smirked and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Oh well." Axel took my hand and walked away. "See ya."

Morgan put his hands on his hips and stood confidently. Then he eyed me with pride.

"The game's not yet done, you know." I said.

"Yeah, I know. But I already won." Then he was taken aback. "Ow!"

Behind was Cecilia who happened to run into him.

"Oops." she said. "I guess you've caught me."

"Haha see?" Morgan scoffed.

I laughed at his face.

"What?" he said. "You haven't even caught Junie and Minmin yet."

"And you haven't caught Leslie yet." I replied.

"Ah-" he held a finger up.

"Says the person who said he can't run fast. Well, why haven't you caught him yet, huh?" I jabbed a finger at him.

"Because I haven't seen him yet."

"Because he's fast, you dumdum!" I stated.

"Morgan! There you are!" Minmin waved. She was dashing towards us alongside Junie.

"We were looking fo-" Junie spotted me immediately.

Before they could say anything else, I dashed towards them and tagged them at the same time.

Then I took off and ran away.

"Did she?? Did she just trick me into stalling!?" I heard Morgan's voice.

"We win!" I spat back and then continued to run.

I arrived at the backyard of the House "Hey guys! We won!"

Morgan, Junie, and Minmin caught up behind me.

"Yay! Let's go Isabella!" Clara, Axel, and Cecilia cheered for me.

Morgan walked towards me and held his hand up.

"Good game." he said. Even though I can see he clearly felt defeated.

"No problem." I shook his hand.

"Hey, even though it doesn't look like it, I keep a promise. You can count on me with your chores." he added.

"Thanks, Morgan." I said.

"Carson, how many minutes left?" I asked.

He looked at his stopwatch. "Eleven."

"ELEVEN?!" everyone gasped.

"We beat you in nine minutes!" I announced.

"So...are you saying the people left in the forest are...?" Rojan asked.

I gazed at the forest and then looked back at them. "Fleo and Leslie."

"WHAT!? HUH!? LESLIE?!"

Everyone exclaimed.

"Told you so." I held my head up high and flipped my braid. "He's better than you think. Don't underestimate a quiet guy, you never know how his mind works. "

I placed one fot on a rock. "We win."

Axel, Clara, and Cecilia started dancing and hooting with our victory.

Rojan's team looked at each other and sighed.

"Alright then, we better look for them to notify them about the game." Rojan spoke.

"Chop chop!" I clapped and we began the search.
