Maya's POV

"I never said that I didn't have feelings for her."

I felt my cheeks heat up, but somehow I keep myself calm and spoke up.

"I never said that I didn't have feelings for him."

Zach turns his face to me in disbelief. I hear a giggle that I knew came from Jack. I looked up and saw Daniel grinning enthusiastically. I continue to eat normally and Zach does too. I can hear small giggles come from him in between munches and I couldn't help but giggle myself.

I could feel Bailey's eyes burning wholes into me. 

After dinner, we all said thank you and began to walk back to our houses. Zach walked me back home with his arm over my shoulder and I felt so loved. Once we reached my porch, he pulled me into a long, warm embrace. He pulled away and planted a kiss on my forehead.

I love life.

I sat in my bed in my pajamas and clicked on the group chat.
