On the same day, Soma and another student got themselves into a shokugeki. The reason for this is because of 'the system'. The system of the disregard of Erina that makes the clubs that she believes is not up to her standards would be eliminated. The power of the Elite Ten is being abused to closed down numerous clubs. In this scenario is Don Rs. When Akiro and Lan came back to see Megumi telling them that Soma has gotten into a Shokugeki.
"So Soma got into a Shokugeki with who?" Asked Akiro.
"Mito Ikumi. She has the alias of 'Meat Master' She is rumored to have a sensitive touch and tongue to feel the temperature of the meat she cooked. The match will be in two days. Ah, what should we do? What should we do? If he doesn't win, he would get expelled. " Said Megumi.

The first person to put the dish is Mito Ikumi with her A5 Japanese Roti Don.

The Judges quickly praise the don and its beauty. The comments of the don are wild fired by the meat is so juicy and the epitome of the fine beef. The beef was perfectly roasted and was cut to be arranged like a rose for the centerpiece of the dish. As the judges take a bite, the juice of the meat exploded. The taste of the roti and beef is rich.
"The juicy beef is much to behold and the roti got a lot of rich flavors." Said Judge1.
"The beef looks like a rose that has just bloomed." Said Judge2.
"The beef is just splendid." Said Judges3.
The judging when well and most of the crowd was certain on Mito Ikumi has won. After the evaluation, it is Soma's turn. The dish is Chaliapin Steak Don.

The Don has many chopped fried onions on top of a steak. The first comment of the dish was the many onions on top and the quality of the dish. As the judges have taken a bite, they are gulping down the dish. The meat was soft like butter because of the acid from the fried onions. The refreshing pickled plum rice that balances the dish. The fried onion that was cooked with Alka wine, Soy sauce, and others to make the sauce.
"What is this the meat melts in my mouth!" Said Judge1.
"The pickled plum rice is making a refreshing mouthfeel to the dish making me eat more." Said Judge2.
"The Chaliapin steak was devised by the chef at the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo in 1936 when a Russian opera singer Feodor Chaliapin requested an extra tender steak. This was proposed because of Feodor Chaliapin's toothache during that time." Said Judge3.
"I just can't stop eating." Said Judge2.
The judges were given bowls over bowls of the dish. Mito Ikumi was surprised at this and demanded why. Soma told her that a don is one whole meal as one in a bowl and give her a look of her roti don. The meat was finished but the roti isn't. Soma told her that the flavor the two main ingredients of the dish was overpowering one after the other. He told her to eat his dish and she gulps it down.
"The final judging has finished and the winner is Yukihira Soma." Said The Commentator.
As the Polar Star Dormitory members and the member of the Don RS who was there and cheered at his victory.
- Omake: The result of the badminton match-
"So, why didn't I agree with those conditions again?" Said Akiro.
