MINE

CHAPTER 4

The following morning Hande woke up before Kevin, rolling on her back she saw her father sleeping peacefully right next to her. She crawl on top of him before sitting on his chest and poking his eyes, cheeks and nose. She was trying to persuade him to open his green eyes and look at her, she would never get use to sleeping next to her dad, eating next to him, loving him and be loved by him. To her, parents never existed before Kevin. But now when she see her dad, she felt worth to wait so long for his love. 

Kevin woke up with so many pokes here and there on his body, growling lowly he opened his eyes to be met with his daughter big doe-doe eyes who was watching him with a small smile. He couldn't help but feel love towards her. Is it even possible to love someone else child as yours? To love someone beyond words? To love someone who is not your blood and bones? All this was so much new to him but he felt he was always meant to be his dad. Sometimes your instinct knows more then you could ever know.

He smiled brightly at her. "Morning pup" 

"Good morning daddy" Hande smile matched his as she bend down and kissed his cheeks. Before she knew it Kevin was tickling her side making her giggle beyond control. "Stop daddy...otherwise i will pee."

"Really?" Kevin couldn't do anything beside laughing with her, her giggles triggered his smile, brighten his heart and made him feel content. When he stopped tickling her, he helped her to stand and took her in the bathroom for doing their morning business. He made her brush her teeth and take a small shower. After dressing her up in decent clothes which was probably Alpha sons old garments. He took a shower himself before wearing his formal clothes. He need to be presentable if he is second in command of a respected pack.

"Daddy, are you going somewhere?" Hande asked in her full excitement. 

"Yes sweety, Me and Mason, well we own a business and i need to complete some task at hand but before that" Kevin bend down and carried her towards the door. "I would feed you with some delicious pancake."

"I love pancakes daddy. But i was only allowed to have very small piece of it" She mumbles softly. Children always seem to love something which they couldn't get their hands on.

Kevin heart broke seeing her sad over something so small. Child get sad and happy over very small things and he would make sure she be happy throughout her life or at least till he is alive and breathing. 

"Sweety, i can't change, what happen with you in that orphanage but i do promise, i will make the rest of our lives filled with lots of pancake" He assured her as he descended down the stairs and to the kitchen, where everyone in the pack house have breakfast.

As soon as he arrived with Hande, there was pin drop silence before Mason cleared his throat and just like that, everyone went down to their own business. Who would want to mess with an Alpha. Mason looked at Kevin before smiling at Hande who returned his smile with equal excitement. Kevin sat down next to his alpha and made Hande sit next to him. Luna smiled at Hande before serving her pancakes along with other pups. Just like that Hande started having her breakfast.

"Hey" Hande was interrupted when she heard a small voice right next to her. She saw a big boy, but not much big, maybe around the age of ten to eleven looking at her strangely. She looked at him before saying a small 'hey' back. The boy smiled before grabbing a tissue next to her and wiped her cheeks. 

Hande immediately became embarrassed by her lack of responsibility and started looking at anywhere but at him. "It's OK. We did the same when we were of your age. My name is Derek" The boy introduced himself proudly. 

"I am Hande, thank you for helping me. " She replied coyly. She has never socialized with someone, let alone a boy who is so much handsome. 

"I am Tyler." a boy next to Derek said with a small smile. "and he is Marcus." Tyler mentioned someone beside him who didn't turn around to even acknowledge her. "Tough guy and he is elder then both of us by ten minutes." Tyler and Derek chuckle and she couldn't help but giggle with them.
