PokéTrainers x Reader [ONE-SHOTS] - [REQUESTS: CLOSED]

[Fluff] Red: Her Aria

It was a known fact by the vast majority that Red was always up on Mt. Silver, only coming down when it was absolutely necessary such as meetings, travelling for championships and so forth. He doesn't like being around large crowds, which was something that sadly brews up around him due to his status as the Pokémon Master. Mt. Silver helps to funnel out the crowd into a smaller group that may give him a challenging battle but, in the end, he would always reign as the victor.

Even though he has all the nice benefits of being at Mt. Silver's summit, there are still some negatives he despises. The major one was how he can't always be with his girlfriend, (Y/N). They were dating for around a year and actually met a year prior to that when Red attended a Pokédex meeting with Professor Oak. The (H/C) haired girl was also present as she was a dex holder that moved from Sinnoh to Kanto, and Red was surprised that she didn't freak out when she saw him. Throughout the entire week of the meeting's duration, she treated him like any normal person, not as the Kanto Champion and not as the Pokémon Master but as Red and only Red.

After the meeting concluded, Red couldn't help but hang out with (Y/N) around Kanto, of course there was always a crowd behind them, but even then the two trainers would just ignore the masses and focus on each other. Even when Red never uttered out a single word, (Y/N) still understood him perfectly; "Actions can speak just as loud as words~" the (H/C) haired girl hummed while petting her partner, (F/P). "You're actually quite talkative in that regard." (Y/N) laughed, making the raven-haired male unconsciously blush, but chuckle at the same time which earned a small playful nudge from Pikachu.

He knew a lot about the girl and she knew a lot about him in return, but one night, when returning back to their makeshift campsite after snagging some firewood, the silent male and his Pikachu heard a melody accompanied by an angelic voice. Never in his life could Red imagine that it would be the same girl he travelled with but there she was... Singing a soft lullaby while slowly stroking a sleeping (F/P). When taking one step forward, the (H/C) haired girl stopped her song and turned to face the other trainer.

"Hey there Red, Pika~" (Y/N) whispered as she quietly stood up and walked to the male trainer, trying not to wake her sleeping partner in the process. Turning her head away in an attempt to hide her embarrassed expression, she quietly uttered out, "S-Sorry you had to hear my voice like that... (F/P) gets jumpy when camping outside, it was the only way to calm them down." While placing the firewood near the flames, Pikachu jumped off of their trainer's shoulders and skipped up to the embarrassed female with an excited squeal. (Y/N) giggled and picked up the electric mouse and engulfed it in a soft hug, resulting in more squeals of excitement from the small Pokémon. Turning to Red, her (E/C) eyes widened in surprise when she saw the male smiling back; 'Your voice is beautiful.' was what Red's body language and expression conveyed.

A blush creeped its way onto her cheeks; "Y-you think so?" with a light nod from the raven-haired male, (Y/N)'s blush turned a darker shade, "T-thank you." she replied, looking back up and noticing a faint blush on Red's face. He turned his head away in an attempt to hide his own expression which made the girl giggle. "I-I never sang to anyone other than my team but... Since you already heard me I can take requests~" (Y/N) tried to stutter out in a joking manner, earning a chuckle from Red.

Every night from then on, it became a small tradition for (Y/N) to sing a tune. At the beginning she was very shy, to the point where she had to direct her singing to (F/P) with her back facing Red but after some time she grew used to it. Yet, once they started dating, she would always sing soft melodies to Red, which always seemed to calm him down especially when he had a rough day.

Speaking of rough days, today was exactly that.

All the trainers that Red battled at the summit lost and didn't give him a challenge at all. They were the typical fans, hiking up the mountain just to meet him rather than having a proper battle, which annoyed him more than usual days. It also didn't help that, after the last battle, a small blizzard stirred up, causing strong gusts of cold wind to whip around the summit. Sitting next to Charizard and the fireplace in their cave, Red couldn't help but sigh in frustration. If only he could just cuddle with his loving girlfriend, listen to her voice and stay like that forever-

"Red! Are you in there?" a voice called out, instantly causing the said male to snap out of his thoughts. Turning towards the cave entrance, he saw a familiar figure standing with a (F/P) by their side. The figure and their Pokémon walked towards Red before plopping down next to him. "I swear I always hike up this mountain at the wrong times!" the (H/C) haired girl ranted.

Without saying anything, Red pulled her into a warm embrace, causing a pair of (E/C) eyes to widen in surprise. Taking note of his body language, and the fact that he didn't want to break the hug, (Y/N) smiled and returned the gesture. Removing his hat, she stroked his hair in a loving manner. "Lemme guess. Rough day?" (Y/N) asked, to which her boyfriend nodded in return.

"I think I know what can help~" the (H/C) girl muttered softly before she started to hum the melody of a soft, recognizable tune.

Binge listening to Pokémon themes and Vocaloid songs can do wonders when it comes to inspiration HAHAHAH

I had a rough idea of what I wanted to write about for Red but the moment Youtube auto-played an orchestral remix of his theme, that idea got thrown OUT OF THE WINDOW- And I wrote this instead~

I was about to link some type of Vocaloid song/cover instead but then I remembered how much I love the OST of NieR/NieR:Automata and went down that route instead~ The language sung is a made-up one called "Chaos" but it's still so pretty omg (*ToT)

I know that I didn't write THAT much kissing scenes in my oneshots yet (Heck- The only one I wrote so far was with Blue LMFAO) but I'm more of a relationship/world builder which would transition into kissy-kissy rather than being 100% juicy mcjuice (*QwQ)

I will try my best to write more "physical" romantic scenes but man... I'm such a sucker for cute interactions it's insane-

I have no clue who I will write about next... Like usual, let's see where inspiration takes me!
