the ride didn't take that long because of the light traffic, but it did concern taeyong when he realized the car was pretty much leaving the city.
"um, do you guys live outside the city?" mingyu asked, pretty much voicing out the same question taeyong and jungwoo had in their heads. wonwoo turned to him and gave a curt nod.
"there wasn't a big enough property in the city, at least the ones that weren't scouted out by other corporations, we settled for somewhere far away from their dramas." he explained slowly with a careless wave as if it was nothing too big.
mingyu and jungwoo just nodded as they understood his point. taeyong turned his head and continued to stare out the window, watching as the trees flew by as they drove past them.
he must've dozed off because by the time he came to, jungwoo was already softly shaking his shoulder. "we're here." jungwoo softly announced to the omega.
taeyong blinked tiredly before following jungwoo out the car where mingyu and the three alphas were already waiting for them.
mingyu animated talking to wonwoo while he stared excitedly at something behind taeyong, literal stars in his eyes. taeyong imagined an imaginary tail wagging excitedly behind him.
curiosity getting the best of him, taeyong turned around to see what mingyu was staring at and widened his eyes at the sight of a large mansion standing proudly, their ride having parked just outside it's white gates.
it was something that came straight out of a movie. taeyong had never seen anything like it.
white outer walls that towered over the trees that surrounded it, not a single vine or moss creeping up against its structure despite it being surrounded by a vast green garden by the front, all lush green and obviously taken care of.
the windows looked extremely clean, sunlight was gleaming off of them brightly and taeyong could see wine red curtains peeking from behind.
'just how loaded are these alphas?' taeyong thought as he turned back to the alphas who were talking amongst themselves as the driver pulled out their luggage for them.
taeyong spies lucas nodding to whatever the older alphas said before turning to the 3 of them with a bright grin.
"hey guys, follow me! i'll show you to your new rooms." lucas announced as he walked over to them, making wonwoo shake his head in exasperation at the youngest alpha's loudness.
"we have rooms already?" jungwoo asked in surprise, but followed lucas closely behind as they approached the front gate.
"well they're temporarily your rooms, it's an extra single bedroom we have in our house just in case a friend of ours was visiting." lucas chuckled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck.
the omegas stood in silence as lucas leaned forward to the machine next to the entrance of the small gate, making soft sounds of surprise when a scanner suddenly beeped to life and started scanning lucas' eye.
"woah, technology." mingyu whispered causing taeyong to roll his eyes and jungwoo to giggle at the tall omega's antics.
"sorry if it's too much to take in." lucas giggled as he stepped aside for the omegas to go in first, "we don't really stay here that often, we only come back at night, so we usually just leave it up to our maids to keep the place nice and tidy."
the three omegas say nothing as they enter the large mansion, eyes wandering around in awe at the place.
"woah." taeyong mutters and flinches back in shock when his voice echoes throughout the room.
