The next day people were firing weapons at Grimm that were in the area. I grabbed an auto-laser rifle and a normal rifle and shotgun. Danse, piper, nick, Hancock, Preston, and I boarded an APC and took off deeper into the city to take out larger Grimm.

They stopped at a large city square, there were hundreds of them.

Hancock got on the turret on the APC, and let loose on them kill a good amount in a few minutes.

Finally, nick, Danse, and I pulled out our rifles and finished off the rest of the Grimm.

For several more hours, they drove around the area killing any Grimm they passed. They drove into a suburb and looked around.

"Yah know Markus it's weird how no matter where you go, people always find sorrow and destruction, this looks like sanctuary hills before you built it into a rival to Diamond city," Preston said depressed

"We are here for that reason, we will one day put an end to the sorrow and pain in this world, don't be depressed now, we are already here and we can take anything because we are minutemen," Markus said

"Thanks, General," Preston said

"Don't get to close or you'll start making me jealous," piper said

"Aww don't get jealous I still love you, I just don't get the time to show it, especially since I am now the leader of the minutemen," Markus said

"Im just joking, sheesh, for someone who leads an army, you sure are emotional"  piper responded

"unknowns approaching from up ahead" danse stated

They all looked forward to seeing a group of white fang members running at them with weapons from ahead, they grabbed their guns, they get out of the APC, and aim at the oncoming faunas. The faunas began firing at the group hitting Hancock in the shoulder. Hancock rolled behind the APC and popped a stim pack, he climbed into the APC and began to fire its mounted turret.

This caused the faunas to duck behind fallen houses. They continued to fire back and forth at each other until Markus lobbed a grenade and knocked some debris on most of the faunas. The remaining faunas surrendered and were placed in cuffs

Sitting in the back of the APC Markus and Nick began questioning the faunas. "What are you doing here in an abandoned city, if you talk we might be able to help you"

"We are here because we are trying to lead Grimm into Vale to cause a breach," the faunas said

"Who is leading this attack," Nick asked

"I don't know her name but she has dark hair and amber eyes, usually wearing a red dress" the faunas answered

"Markus that sounds like the woman you said was attacking a girl when you first got here" nick whispered to Markus

"Very well, thanks for your cooperation and I shall make sure your trial is fair," Markus said

An hour later some guards showed up and picked up the White fang.

They started on their way again, everyone remained quiet for the ride until they made it square main city square, they saw a girl that's hood.

"That's ruby!!" Markus yelled

They pulled the APC up to her and they all got out.

"Ruby what are you doing out here it's VERY dangerous to be around this place," Markus said

"We're here on a mission from ozpin," ruby said

"same here, we are clearing this place to make it safe for others to live here" Markus explained

"Well if you want to help me and the rest of the team rwby are clearing out the white fang.' Ruby said

" speaking of, I need to talk to you and your team, where are they," Markus asked

Ruby was about to respond when the ground under her, Markus, and nick cracked causing the ground to cave in.

"MARKUS!!!" Piper screamed. The group ran to the edge of the hole looking for the others through the dust.

"Argh, we're fine. Get back the rest could be unstable, look for the rat of team rwby and get their attention" Markus yelled up to them 

The commotion caught the attention of the fang in the tunnels and now began fighting them.

A small black and white dog ran up to piper and barked at her and looked in a direction.

"You want me to follow you?" Piper asked the dog.

After saying that the dog ran off in the direction of a decrepit building. Piper and the rest chased after her and once they caught up they saw the team holding Zwei

"Grab your weapons your leader may be in danger," dr oobleck said.

"Hey Markus told us to come to get you, they were in the street when it caved in," Piper said

(With Markus)

"Wow that was quite the tumble," I said

"Yeh, I don't have my gun," ruby said panicking

I put up my pip-boy and take out a rifle and shotgun.

"Take this rifle, for the time being, it's not like yours but it'll do. Have to be able to pick up any weapon and know how to get the job done" I explained

Looking around I found a door that leads down a hall. Ruby and I walk down the hall and see 4 white fang members, I take a stealth boy and use it, then I signal ruby to stay.

I walk up to the White fang members and shoot them....in the face.

we walk through a tunnel and make it to a large opening with buildings inside I see roman, and several white fang ruby takes off toward roman and I run off towards the fang and blast them a good one with a shotgun, they quickly dropped like flies through a cloud of bug spray 

The rest of the guards quickly jumped into action and began to fire back while Roman started the train, the rest of the good guys came back to find knocked out guards and dead guards and Markus and ruby running at a moving train.

They all get on top of the cars and open the top to find a bomb, blake ran down opening up all of the cars

"They all have bombs," Blake said

"They are going to lure Grimm to the city," Markus said

Team ruby ran into the cars farther up to stop the train. While the others stayed to fight some of the Grimm off.

After about 3 minutes they hear a deafening boom echo through the tunnels.

" guys come on the must-have breached the walls of Vale. If any Grimm get into the city, hundreds could die" piper said

"Elder Maxson this is Markus, have 10 vertibird converge on Vale, Grimm is attacking the city, well be there shortly," Markus said over the radio

It took about 10 minutes but as soon as they  made it to where the train wrecked they saw destroyed buildings  crushed cars, and robots ripped apart,
Oh! and the Brotherhood and Atlas in a standoff

" guys stand down, we don't want a bigger incident than what we already have," Markus said

Ironwood came down from an airship

"Markus, are these your men, if so what are they doing," Ironwood asked

"They are some old friends I asked to come to help you guys while we got here" Markus responded

Ironwood nodded "alright, but please notify me next time"

"Pfft, ok...General" Markus said sarcastically

Alright that's the chapter, thanks for reading, sorry for the looong delay but I just so demotivated at one point with this story that writing a paragraph was hard, but again sorry and I shall try to do better in the future
