The court was silent for a moment for two, the world seemed to stop in that time. Mayumi held her breath, unable to comprehend what just happened right before her eyes. No one in the crowd expected the fallen crows to secure the first point. Especially with such a move with the libero setting up spike.

Then the Karasuno boys' cheers drowned out the shocked gasps and various noises from the gym - the ones who just scored are the most surprised?!

Mayumi felt a sweatdrop form, did they really not anticipate scoring off of that play? Regardless, she was able to eavesdrop from her position on the sideline before Tobio-chan took his serve - overhearing and agreeing with the blonde coach.

Karasuno is reborn!

She wasn't surprised to see that Tobio-chan's form when serving was eerily similar to Oikawa, he did learn from him - even if it was for a short time. But what Tobio still lacked was his own self-control, in more ways than one. The ball held the power it needed, but it was slightly out of bounds and Hanamaki was able to call it clearly and let it bounce out. At least, to Mayumi, it seemed like he was better at holding his emotions in whenever he messed up.

'Although this is just the second point of the entire match, who knows what buttons Oikawa and the others will try to push in order for him to break.'

Letting out an audible sigh at the idea, Mayumi saw Iwa-chan getting ready to serve. She knows that everyone tends to overlook the power that he holds, simply overshadowed by Oikawa's ability. But the thing is, they are only as great as they are because they are together - even if Oikawa-senpai annoys Iwa-chan, they bring out the best plays in each other.

She was right, his serve almost knocked over the long-haired ace from Karasuno, sending a long ball to Tobio-chan.

What she really should have been paying attention to was #3, who easily read the set that Tobio-chan sent his way to avoid Kunimi's own block, and spiked it for a point. Over the black Karasuno banner, Mayumi could make out screams and cheers that were clearly made for the wing spiker who just scored. Popular with the ladies?

The tall bean pole was up to serve, his features were familiar to Mayumi but she brushed it off considering she did see him before the match earlier.

The energetic tangerine, whose name she learned was Hinata Shouyo, was up front again in his blocking position. Oikawa was able to set perfectly, as always, to Iwa-chan and send it over the net through both of the hands of Tobio-chan and Hinata. Her heart was pounding loudly in her chest when the Karasuno captain received it, yet it was still for the moments watching Hinata gear up for the infamous quick attack.

Then it was blocked.

Until Mr. Bean Pole saved it and sent it back over.

This time she kept her eyes on the Karasuno side, knowing and trusting that her boys in teal and white will receive it just fine and set up their own attack. Mayumi was glad she did, because otherwise she wouldn't believe what she saw.
