Chapter 3

I went to school the next day. It wasn't the same. I was so happy because soon we will leave school. December 2. Yay. 23 days left till Christmas. You might think I'm a little girl counting Christmas. But hey I still love getting presents.

I saw Kiara at the entrance.

"Crystal! Guess what!"

I had no other choice but to say,"What."

"Ethan asked me out! Eeep!!"

"Omg omg omg omg OMG omg OMG!! He's like your crush!! Lucky for you!!"

"I know!"

"How??"

"Well yesterday afterschool. He went up to me. He was all shy. But he just asked me out. I was like. Am I dreaming? I said yes ofcourse. Then I hugged him. And he hugged me back and we spent the next 2 hours together. "

"Lucky. I mean at least your crush asks you out. Mines taken."

"I'm sorry Crystal. I really am. "

"That's okay. It's not your fault."

We were walking to English class when Daniel went up to us. He always does don't get me wrong. But this time it felt awkward.

"Crystal!!"

"Hey."

"What up? Why do you look sad?"

I would tell him the truth but what would I say? Daniel I don't like how you're dating Karla. You guys should break up because I love you for like 2 years.

"Nothing really."

"What do you mean nothing really? I know you enough for 2 years. What's up?"

"Nothing." I hated when he does this.
But it was cute at the same time.

"Is it your crush?"

I looked at him surprised like he knew what was going on.

"What?"

"Is it your-"

"No no. I heard you. "

"Then?"

"No. Why did you ask that?"

"I mean most girls make that answer when they feel sad."

"No! That's a lie!" I told him.

It wasn't.

"Who's your crush Crystal?" He said raising an eyebrow.

"No one. "

"Yeah sure no one."

"No one you know."

"You're bad at lying."

"Shut up!" I told him.

"Okay whatever bye. It's 7:58 got to go to class." And he left.

"Why didn't you tell him the truth?" Kiara asked.

"Do you think it's easy?" I asked her.

"No. But he'll know the truth. "

I ignored her and went to class.
