Dr. Leafhead: The Complete Saga

Part 3, Chapter 10: Denouement

                                                  Denouement

 Gradually the house returned to normal. The delivery trucks for Obscurity Sandwich finally retreated after Leafhead stubbornly refused to pay the bill for the hundredth time. The portal to Mars was boarded up for awhile. The crops went untended.

Rip, Wilx and Krimshaw retrieved the unstable lab-coat. They ventured back to whatever time and dimension they were from. But I wasn't sure they had a home at all anymore. Did they even have their own time to get back to? Or were they now children of the cosmos, weaving in and out of time and dimensions without any regard for chronology?

I decided to indefinitely disappear from Chateau Leafhead. This place would be fine without me. Better.

"I've got a screenplay to write," I said.
