Lacey fell asleep on Keri's chest while we were talking in the livingroom me and Daniel took Lacey up to his room to put her on his bed and surrounded her with Daniel's pillows so she wouldn't roll off the bed. As we open the door I look around as I'm sort of rocking Lacey
"Sorry my room is from when I was a little boy" Daniel said with an embarrassed laugh
"No I like it" I said turning around
He laughs and moves pillows around and I put Lacey between them
I smile and look at Daniel while he's watching her peacefully sleep
I lean over and kiss his cheek and take my finger and turn his head to look at me gently with my finger
"I love you" I whisper "I truly don't deserve you" I look into his eyes
"what do you mean you don't deserve me" he said in a low tone
"You are perfect, your family is perfect. And here I am a teenager with a baby, my Amazing brother, and my Mom and dad and other brother that absolutely despise me" I said still holding his face to look at me with my finger
"Hey my love, my family is your family. Okay?" He said softly
I just nodded and walked away from him going to the piano
"Can I play it, Daniel?" I asked quietly
"Of course" he said

It is the only thing that makes us feel alive" I sang quietly while playing the piano quietly

Inside these pages you just hold me

Wait for me to come home" I sang that and then stopped
I stood up and hugged Daniel. We pulled away and Daniel held my face, "I love you" he whispered "I love you too" I said
He leaned down and kissed me softly, "You wanna go down stairs" Daniel asked and I nodded
We went down stairs and walked into the kitchen and Jeff walks in the front door and walks over to Daniel and hugs him, telling him how much he missed him.
He made his way over to me and gives me a hug and greets him self, "I'm going to the grill if you want to come with Daniel" His dad said patting his back Daniel nodded and kisses my forehead, "I'll be outside make conversation with my mom okay?" He said in my ear
"Okay" I said as he walks out the door. Keri is getting stuff out to cook, "Do you need any help Mrs. Seavey?" I asked
"Sure hun, and also you don't have to call me that you can call me by my name or mom" she smiled she made me feel like I had a mother figure, caring sweet
I nodded putting my hair up in a ponytail and washing my hands
"So tell me, how are you" she asked
"I'm good, just tired and a little stressed" I chuckled letting her know it's not a big deal
"Why what's going on" she asked obviously curious and seemed to genuinely care.. unlike my "mom"
"Well obviously having a child so young it's very overwhelming, and still being in school doesn't help so much, but let me tell you if it wasn't for Daniel I really don't think I would be getting through all of it. You've raised such an amazing boy. He's the most respectful, kind hearted, down to earth person ever" I said truthfully while helping Keri
"He's so grown up, it makes me so proud to hear that. It makes me proud to know how responsible he is" Keri said with a big smile
Me and Keri were just finishing up with certain things until Anna comes down the stairs with a grouchy Lacey against her chest and Lacey's head on Anna's shoulder for support
"Hey Ann, I was about to walk down here but I heard her crying and I thought I would get her for you" she said rubbing her little back and sitting in one of the stools at the island and Keri wash our hands off and walk to Anna
"Thank you so much, she doesn't do too well alone after a while" I smile and walked over behind Anna's shoulder to see her little face and she has little puffy eyes showing she just woke up
"Hi my love" I kissed her head, "Do you want me to take her or do you want to just hold her?" I asked Anna "I'll hold her if you want" Anna smiled at me, I nodded.
"Ann, wanna go out side" Keri asked, "Sure" I smiled following her out the sliding doors to the porch where Jeff and Daniel are working on the grill, Keri and I Sat on a really nice porch seating area
While the Grill was heating up Daniel and his dad walk over to us
Daniel stands next to me
"Daniel can I show Ann your baby photos!" Keri said excited
"Mom those are so embarrassing" Daniel said with a laugh as he got red
"Fine we will do it later" Keri teased, I smiled
Daniel sits down in the chair beside me then Anna comes out with a crying Lacey, "Hey Ann, I don't know what to do she wont stop crying" she said worried
I stood up and walked to her she handed me Lacey and she walked with me when I went upstairs to get formula and a bottle when I got done grabbing that we headed downstairs to the kitchen she was still crying
Daniel was just walking in from outside
He walked over to me and took her into his embrace
"Hey my love calm down" he said softly kissing her head, once she was in Daniel's embrace she stopped crying but she was still fussy
I made her bottle and Daniel fed it to her while he was holding her
"I'm sorry that she started crying, Anna" I apologized, "No you are fine" she smiled and hugged me
"Wait has Dad met Lacey yet" Daniel asked with a smile, I shook my head no.
When Lacey was done eating, all three of us went outside and Daniel went to his dad so he could meet Lacey
"She is very beautiful" he smiled at me
"Thank you" I smiled back
He squeezed her little cheeks, having a small bonding moment with him
