You were a little sad to have to leave the shopping area in Kichijoji, but Akechi assured you that the next destination would take your breath away. He knew that you were new to the city so he wanted to be able to show you around a bit. You sipped on your coffee as you followed his lead, completely clueless as to where the two of you were actually going. It wasn't long until you had disembarked the train and exited the station. After a couple more blocks of walking, the sight in front of you was truly something to behold.

It was a big park that was lined with many trees. In the distance you could see that the park was colored with a pinkish hue. The wind gently blowing through the that lined the pathway making the leaves rustle. You could hear laughter and chatting of people around you. As the two of you walked further into the park, your eyes widened at the sight before you. There was a huge pond with magnificent cherry blossom trees in full bloom hanging over the water. It was magical. It also reminded you of home, although seeing the blooms at Osaka Castle didn't quite compare to this.

You squealed excitedly as you ran ahead on to one of the bridges to get a better look at the pond. The light wind occasionally blew some loose petals off of the trees and scattered it around the area. You couldn't help but giggle as you closed your eyes feeling the cool breeze and cherry blossom petals dance around you. Akechi just watched as you seemed to enjoy yourself. He was thankful that he had thought of this beforehand, watching you smile and laugh was a sight to behold in and of itself. Perhaps, it was an even better sight than the cherry blossoms.

The male caught up to you and smiled brightly, "I told you it was great here, right?"

"It's so beautiful, Akechi-kun!!!" You cheered happily as you got closer to him. "Let's take a picture!"

You loved to take pictures and document your day to day adventures. Without even allowing him to answer you pulled out your phone and pulled him close. You held your hand out with your phone, "Smile!"

His eyes were wide by your sudden actions. He wasn't expecting to be so close to you and especially since this was your first day hanging out together. But you didn't care. As far as you were concerned, Akechi was now your friend. You smiled brightly as you leaned in to him to make sure you could also see the beautiful scenery behind the two of you. He chuckled and smiled after the first picture was taken, and boldly put his arm around your shoulders to make the positioning of your bodies more comfortable.

Once you snapped a couple of photos you brought your phone back to inspect them with Akechi. You couldn't help but laugh at the first picture where he had a look of shock on his face, but it slowly turned into a bright smile in the following photos.

Akechi laughed at the pictures as well, "Would you mind sending me these as well? They're quite nice."

You nodded as you quickly sent him all of the pictures you took. As you sent the pictures a couple had passed with some delicious looking treats in their hands. At a better look, you could see that they were crepes. You may have liked your coffee on the bitter side, but you definitely had a weakness for sweets and desserts. Your face lit up as you looked down the path, there were some food trucks and stands off in the distance.

"How do you feel about crepes, Akechi-kun?" You asked as you turned to smile at him.

"They are quite delicious every once in a while," He nodded in response to your question.

"Great!" You grinned as you took his hand and started to pull him in the direction of the food trucks.

He gasped but allowed himself to be pulled along. He couldn't help but laugh as he made sure to keep up with you and your excitement. Akechi noticed that he was laughing a lot more than usual today, especially in your presence. You seemed to have brought out a lighter and playful side of him, that even he himself wasn't sure he had. But he had to admit that the feeling was welcomed, but a bit foreign. He was used to being far more mature and serious given his occupation and current situation. He didn't have much freedom to be... well a teenager. He was forced to grow up faster than he would have liked. But with you, he was able to relax.
