Fateful Encounters || Persona 5 x Reader

Studying

After your encounter with Yusuke, your mind couldn't help but wander back to the boy's proposition. It was interesting that he seemed to be so captivated and inspired by you. But you couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable when you thought about being someone's model. 

"Oi! (y/n)!" 

You were snapped out of your thoughts by Ryuji calling your name and poking your cheek gently. You turned to look at him and smiled sheepishly, "Sorry... what were you saying?" 

The blonde boy furrowed his eyebrows at you, "I was asking if we should get drinks too or do you have at your house?" 

You shook your head, "No, I have at my house. Let's just buy some cake and snacks." 

Ryuji eyed you a bit, "What got you all spacey? Were you thinking about that weird dude from earlier?" 

You blushed slightly at his question and nodded shyly, "Y-yeah... I was wondering what his art looked like... it got me curious..." 

"Eh? Are you serious?! You can't go see that creep!" Ryuji protested your inquiry. 

"W-What if you guys go with me? I'm just curious..." you puffed your cheeks and averted your eyes away from the boy in front of you. 

"You'll only see that guy if we're there. I don't trust him one bit." 

A smile returned to your face once again as you hugged Ryuji, "You promise you guys will go with me, right?" 

The blonde boy flushed a shade of dark red and nodded as he looked away, "Yeah..." 

"Ren?" you pulled away to stand in front of Ren, waiting for his answer.

"I promise," he smiled down at you as he ruffled your hair gently. 

"Alright, cake time!" you cheered as you skipped on ahead of the boys towards your favorite dessert cafe.

After getting your study/afternoon essentials, the three of you headed towards your house. Since it was the first time you would be having some friends over, you were quite excited. Not to mention, you had been alone for a couple days and the company was greatly appreciated. Your parents wouldn't be back in town for another couple weeks and returning to an empty house wasn't very pleasant. 

Since your house wasn't too far from the station, the three of you had arrived quickly. You opened the little gate and led the way up to the front door. After unlocking it, you walked into the house and flicked on the lights so you all could see where you were going. 

"Follow me, we'll study in the dining room if that's alright with you guys?" 

The two boys nodded as they followed you as you lead the way towards the dining room and kitchen area. When you slid the door open to reveal the room the two boys looked around taking in every inch of the interior. You placed your bags on one of the chairs before heading into the kitchen to grab some drinks for the three of you. 

"You guys want tea, water, or juice?" 

"I'll take some tea, if you wouldn't mind," Ren replied as he placed his bag down on the floor and took a seat next to your bag. Taking the chance to claim the seat, possibly, next to you before Ryuji could.

Ryuji shot the dark-haired male a glare before he took a seat across from him, "I'll just have some water." 

You quickly made everyone their drinks and bringing it to the table on a tray along with some forks to eat the cake with. You placed the tray down in the middle of the table then took a seat at the head of the table between the two boys. You happily started to eat the cake, humming to yourself in happiness. The two boys watched you for a second, admiring the sight in front of them.
