TENSIONS ROSE amid an average of 2,180 fans at Leigh Sports Village when Spurs captain JENNA SCHILLACI yelled racial slurs at Manchester United youngster KALANI SINCLAIR in the 78th minute of the FA cup fifth round.

Since being subbed on at half time, Sinclair was a constant threat in the game. She had already scored a brace to put the home team ahead before leading another attack in the opposition's box that had resulted in a foul.

She'd been brought down by the centreback for a United penalty.

The nasty tackle had left her clutching onto her right leg in agony whilst Schillaci marched up to referee Abigail Byrne and protested her innocence, all while VAR checked for a red card

The nasty tackle had left her clutching onto her right leg in agony whilst Schillaci marched up to referee Abigail Byrne and protested her innocence, all while VAR checked for a red card.

When Sinclair had finally stood up after an inspection by United's medics, Schillaci went over to the eighteen year-old and shoved her.

All Reds, including their goalkeeper, had then quickly rushed over, along with the remainder of the Spurs side. It had escalated into a massive brawl between the two teams.

Byrne ran over and showed Schillaci a red card for the push alone, as the VAR check was still going.

However, even after getting shown a red, she'd fought through bodies to make her way back over to Sinclair who had started to walk away from the chaos.

A string of racial slurs were then yelled by the fired up Schillaci, spawning a bewildered Sinclair who had then turned around to shout back.

Both of their teammates were trying to separate the two from each other, but bodies were flying everywhere and Schillaci landed another shove— this time on the youngster's chin— to which she reacted by landing a punch in the thirty-six year old's face.

Byrne ran over again to give the second red card of the game to Sinclair.

Schillaci, who had been knocked to the ground, was then stood up and pulled away by her teammates who walked her off the pitch, still continuing to yell abuse as she did so.

The penalty had been given to United when Sinclair left the pitch, and had been scored by captain Katie Zelem.

The team did not celebrate despite securing their place in the quarter finals with a 3-1 win, which Sinclair will be ruled out for, and also the semi-finals if United manage to get to that stage.

The FA has come to the decision to give Jenna Schillaci a ten-match ban in all competitions, as Spurs ponder on what to do with her captaincy.
