"It's treason, my king"

"She showed the whole pack that she is a dominant wolf, my king."

"A wolf is loyal to whoever it submits to. The wolf is loyal the girl and if that girl did not submit to you then her loyalties lie elsewhere"

Victoria heard a crash and a growl. They had practically dragged her into Jordan's office and just stared at her. Then, they asked her to wait in the adjoining room.

Her sister had been released. Elizabeth had no memory of what happened. The last thing she remembered was going to sleep when they arrived.

Victoria ensured they had taken Elizabeth to the doctor before she was carted off to Jordan's office.

The men have been saying things along the same lines, since she left.

"This could ruin the entire Kingdom, my King."

"She just showed the whole Kingdom that she can challenge you"

"She is a threat, my king"

"Forgive me, my king, but who is she? No one has received any information. We only know you brought back two females and the guards are very silent about what happened at the Western Pack."

Throughout the entire meeting, Jordan had not uttered a single word. Victoria held her breathe and leaned towards the door, wanting to hear what he would say.

"Leave."

Victoria heard retreating footsteps and a series of "as you wish, my king"

"I know you're listening. You can come in"

She had pulled the chair closer to the door so she could hear every word.

She got up and pushed her head through the door. When she was satisfied that only he was there, she  entered the office. It was a mess of papers and a shattered glass, like he wiped everything from his desk.

"My king, I-"

"Really, I thought we moved passed that"

She looked at the floor in guilt. He was trying to help her and she was causing so much trouble after only a few hours of being there. She started to think that, this was why her father kept her locked up. To avoid dealing with the trouble, that just seemed to follow her around.

"Hey, don't feel bad" he was cupping her face in an instant, "it wasn't your fault. It's alright"

"But it isn't alright. I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I just saw her and I knew what would happen to her and she's my sister. I owe her. I just couldn't stand by and watch. I just couldn't. I'm sorry" Everything came out in a rush.

"How did you get her to submit?"

"I don't know. I just knew that she was scared and she just wanted someone to be a friend"

"Yes but, that was a wolf. That wasn't your sister, Victoria. She was purely animal. I could smell it, and animals don't submit to the weak, no offense. Yet, she submitted to you with ease." She looked up to see him frowning at her.

"I don't know" she shrugged. She really didn't know. She just saw how the situation would end and decided to step in.

"Okay, you don't have to worry. It'll all be fine."
