Today is Alexis' first day at Big Hit Entertainment. She doesn't know what to expect so she just did what she was told on the email. She stood outside the building and taking a deep breath, she walked in. The elevator was about to close so she ran as fast as she could and pressed the button so that the door would open again. In the elevator was Kim Taehyung, the reason why she had the job in the first place.

Taehyung has been one of Alexis' closest celebrity friends. He is an actor They've been friends for a while, since childhood, in fact. He knows her love for Jungkook as much as Seojoon does and she got his support in every concerts, fanmeetings, and every opportunity where she can meet Jungkook... like this one.

"Lexlex, I see you're here earlier than expected. Annyeong~" Taehyung greeted her.

"Annyeong, Taehyungie. Yeah, I'm quite nervous, it's not like I see Jungkook everyday hehe" she replied shyly.

"Yeah, it's a big day for you! I'll be rooting for you, hwaiting! Update me or your brother, at least on how your day goes."

He then flashed his famous boxy smile at her. She'd be lying if she said she doesn't find that attractive, but not as attractive as Jungkook, though.

Taehyung bid goodbye as he reached his floor. Alexis managed to somehow calm herself and let herself out on the 22nd floor. She went to find the make up room and stood outside. The manager told her to text the number given if she's already outside so that the manager can take a good look at her, at least, before letting her start her job. She texted the number and the manager quickly came out of the room.

"I am applying as Jeon Jungkook's make up artist. The one that Taehyung recommended." she said to the manager as she stood outside the make up room

but I don't really know anything about make up she thought

"Good, you can start today. Come in." the manager replied, opening the door for her to see the person she came for. Jungkook.

"Hey, is she the new make up artist?" the boy queried "You look kinda cute, I look forward to working with you." he added, not knowing how flustered she became after hearing it.

"Uh, annyeong, I'm Park Alexis. I'm looking forward to working with you guys too." she shyly said

She stood there, really nervous. As she waited for further instruction, she couldn't help but stare at Jungkook, who at the time was busy scrolling through his phone. She examined him from head to toe. So beautiful she thought.

"Yah! I know I'm handsome but can you please stop staring?" he said plainly.

She snapped out of her trance upon hearing this. "Mianhe. But I was wondering, am I going to start doing your make up... today, right now?" she queried because of the fact that she's been standing for long.

"I guess not. Didn't my manager tell you that your first day will be a tour of the company? I have nothing planned today so I kinda don't need you here" he coldly explained.

"Oh, well in that case, who will tour me?" she asked, silently hoping that it would be him.

Jungkook dialed someone. "Ya! The new make up artist needs a tour. Why did you leave her with me? I don't want to give a stupid tour. Come back here, be the one to show her around." he explained to his manager before hanging up.

Alexis was... disappointed? Hurt? She can't really explain it but something inside her kinda broke. She knew that he was a savage, but not... rude. She brushed it off, it's not good to have down spirits on her first day of work.

The manager thankfully toured her around the building, she was shown where some of the most famous celebrities and singers make up rooms and offices are. She was getting quite exhausted since the tour required a lot of walking. They went back to Jungkook's room and she saw another girl talking to him.

"Manager-nim, who is that?" Alexis whispered to the manager. She made it as quiet as possible but the lady heard it.

"Hi, I'm Minhee, Lee Minhee. Jimin's make up artist." She greeted with a fake ass smile

She bid goodbye to Jungkook and headed to the door. She whispered to me, ever so quietly, "and I'm Jungkook's future girlfriend so I'm telling you... back off." with a grin on her face.

"You can go home now. You officially start tomorrow at exactly 10 am. Don't be late, this is an important show." Jungkook said, not looking up from his phone.

"Okay, I'll get going then, goodbye." Alexis said, bowing slightly.

She was waiting for a cab outside the building when a car parked in front of her. The windows rolled down and revealed Kim Taehyung on the driver's seat.

"Hop in, I'll give you a ride home." He said, again flashing his boxy smile.

"Oh, um, yeah sure. Thanks." Alexis sat on the passenger seat and Taehyung immediately asked how her day went. She sighed, recalling the events on her first day.

"It's fine actually, only if I hadn't known that Jungkook is a jerk and there's that Minhee lurking around, flirting with him." Alexis said, annoyed.

"Well, I guess you have to endure all of it. You wanted this in the first place." He replied chuckling.

"Aish, Taehyung-ah! You're not helping!" Alexis pouted, now even more annoyed.

"Mian, we're here. Stop pouting already!" He said as he opened the car door for her.

They got out and he accompanied her to the door. She gave him a hug and bid goodbye.

"Get some rest and be ready for tomorrow. Goodnight, Lexlex!" Taehyung said before getting in his car and going home.

Alexis and Seojoon were eating their dinner. They were the only ones in the house since their parents lived in another part of the city, quite far from Seojoon's workplace. He and Alexis moved out together. It's good that her brother knows how to cook, they eat homemade food almost everyday, except when she's home alone, she often orders or eats out because she's too lazy to cook anyways.

"Did you enjoy your first day?" Seojoon asked Alexis

"Yeah pretty much. Well, at least I saw him again face to face." Alexis said

"Taehyung told me that you were quite annoyed, are you sure you're okay?" Seojoon reassured.

"Yes, oppa. I'm okay, I wanted this and I guess I have to commit." She smiled.

"That's my sister. Now, eat up, the food's getting cold."

As she laid down on her bed, her mind wandered on the different possibilities that can happen at work. She tried not to overthink, she knows that it won't help. Maybe things will get better as time passes by. She said to herself before dozing off.
