Alexis' POV

I woke up to an empty bed, as usual. This time, it's not my bed. Then, memories of yesterday flooded in my head and I can't help but smile. I mean, as a fangirl, this is my lifelong dream. But, as someone who likes him, I can't help but be flustered and giddy at the same time.

This is the guest room but it his own smell still lingers. I was also wearing his clothes and just by the thought of it, I can feel my cheeks heat up. I snapped out of my daydream state and decided to go out of the room. I was pretty sure he's still asleep but still went to his room (don't ask how she knew where his room is, she just knows) and checked. Great, he's still sound asleep. I went to the kitchen and tried to find something to cook for our breakfast.

I began to rummage through his food cabinet and decided to cook pancakes, egg, and bacon. I was happily cooking when I felt a stare from behind me. Sure enough, a sleepy Jungkook was staring at me, smiling lightly. Not gonna lie, it was a pretty sight.

"Good morning" he said sleepily

"Good morning, have a seat. I'm almost done cooking."

"Do you want tea, juice, coffee, or hot chocolate? I'll make some while you are cooking" he asked

"Hot chocolate, please"

Half of the breakfast time was spent in silence. He then spoke sometime later and said that he will be with his bestfriends, Yugyeom and BamBam today.

"... and why are you telling me this?" I asked, slightly confused

"Because I couldn't hang out with you today." He replied, fake pouting

Well, that was cute. I didn't say anything and just smiled. I got up after finishing my meal and went to the room to take a quick shower and change into my yesterday's clothes. Upon doing so, I  went to his room to say goodbye before going home.

I opened the door and walked inside. I was greeted with a half naked Jungkook. He was wearing nothing but a towel hanging low on his hips and body slightly wet. I stood there frozen and I can imagine my face getting all red. He stood there, obviously shocked to see me.

"O-oh I'm s-sorry! I just came to say goodbye. Well, I'll be going now!"

I turned around and quickly ran out of the room. I was so nervous that my foot decided to be a dumb bitch and trip me over. Luckily, Jungkook was quick to catch me by the waist and saved me from falling. Only then did I realize how close his face to mine and how I was practically hugging his bare upper body at that moment.

We were frozen in that position for a while. I can feel his breath on my face and his touch sent shivers down my spine. How I wish this moment will last forever but no, he's way out of my league. I pulled away and thanked him. I went home and damn, I can still feel myself getting flustered from all of that.

TIMESKIP: A MONTH LATER (basically 1 month left before the bet ends)

Jungkook's POV
I was sure that I'm doing everything solely for the bet but now, I'm beginning to have second thoughts. Don't get me wrong, I am not gonna back out of the bet. But, something inside me gives me the urge to be nice to her, even without thinking of the bet.

It's like I involuntarily do these things that make her happy just because I feel like I need to, and the smile on her face. You know the feeling when someone's smile can make your day? Yeah, that's how I basically felt towards her. I feel sparks when I hold her hand. I feel myself blush whenever she tells me how good I look. There are butterflies in my stomach whenever I see her and her blinding smile. She is a walking sunshine, I have to admit.

There's this one time when I took her to the amusement park for a 'date'. I'm not really a fan of those kinds of dates but as soon as I saw how her eyes sparkle at the sight of the ferris wheel, how she held on tight to me when she was scared of the roller coaster, and how she enjoys herself at the carousel, I felt like it was the best date I've ever had.

I tried to shake these things out of my head and called the one who can help me sot my feelings, Yugyeom. I was never the type to catch feelings and shit. I just want to know why I feel these things with her. I just needed to tell someone about it.

Calling Kim Yugyeom...

Hey, what's up, man?

Uh, can we talk? Like meet up?

Yeah sure, when are you free? Does tomorrow sound okay?

Yup, I'm free. Your place?

Sure, man. Come whatever time you want. See you.

Thanks, Gyeom-ah.

Drowning in all these thoughts, sleep slowly consumed me and before I knew it, my alarm was blaring. It was the next day already and these stupid thoughts are still here. I started to get ready and hopped into my car, driving at Yugyeom's place, not that far from here.

Yugyeom's POV

It was really unexpected for Jungkook to call me and ask for a meet up. I mean, he only does that when he's struggling with something or when he knows he's in deep shit. He texted me that he wanted to talk to me alone and suggested that Hyerin should go out first so that she won't be bothered.

"Babe? Can you go back later? Jungkook will be coming today and it seems like he wants to have a pretty private conversation." I tell Hyerin as she went out from the shower.

"Okay babe. Just let me text Alexis first before coming over to her place. I'll be back before dinner, though. Will that be enough time for you two?"

"Yeah,I guess. I mean, it's just 10am so I think that's more than enough."

"Okay, babe. Alexis said I can come over. I'll dress up real quick and I'll head out, yeah?" She said as she pecked my lips.

I smiled and felt warm. How did I get so lucky? And yes, she moved in with me because it would be much easier for us, both relationship and work wise. It's pretty good, living with her. Yes we sometimes fight but it never lasts for more than a day, which is good because I don't really like seeing her mad with me, although she's cute when she's mad.

About an hour later, Jungkook arrived. He even bought snacks for the both of us, which is rare, I tell you.

I can tell that something's bothering him. So after we got all comfortable, I asked him:

"So what do you wanna talk about?"

Filler chapter meh. I don't know where this story is going tbh HAHAHA but I promise it's gonna be better in the next few chapters because I'm gonna add some drama already. This book will be about 20 chapters long, I think? And sorry for the big timeskip. I figured the story would go slow if I didn't skip HEHE
